Entry Requirements:

  • Yellow Fever Vaccine (Required unless you are in possession of documentation from a health care provider which gives reasons for your exemption)
  • Malaria Pills recommended but not required
  • Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after the scheduled return date.  Passport must have at least 2 blank pages for immigration stamps.
  • Ghana Visa is required for U.S. citizens.

    • Ghana Consulate-New York:  https://newyork.mfa.gov.gh
    • Passport must be sent to the Embassy of Ghana or Ghana Consulate for the visa to be issued in the passport. Then the Ghana embassy will mail your passport back to you via UPS/FedEx.

    • A seamstress at the hotel can pick up your fabrics and take measurements for your custom-made African clothing.
