Transfers:

Round-trip transfers are included in the pricing. To ensure you receive your included transfers, it is important to send me an email with your flight details 60 days prior to your departure, but no later than 15 days before your arrival. If flight details are not received within 15 days of arrival a fee of $35 per person will be assessed and applied to the grand total. We cannot be responsible for any inaccurate or missing flight information which may affect the arrival and/or departure pick-up time in destination. Any changes to flight itinerary received within 24 hours of departure will result in an additional transfer fee. Note that is important to provide only the flight segments into and out of the destination. Connecting flights are not necessary, as they do not impact transfers.
 

Payment & Due Dates:

Your first payment is only for a deposit of $50. However, if you would like to pay more than what is required you may do so.  You are not required to make any payment after the 1st deposit until the final payment due date.
 

Cancellation policy:

We strongly recommend that you purchase one of the two available Travel Protection Plans. After final rooming list due date and up to 30 days prior to departure. $25 per person plus applicable hotel/feature penalties or fees for reduction in room occupancy. 15-30 days prior to departure. $75 per person plus applicable hotel/feature penalties or fees for reduction in room occupancy. 15-0 days prior to departure. No changes can be made to date/duration. Cancel with applicable penalties and rebook as individual booking. Hotel Cancellation Penalty: 1-night per room penalty. No-Show: Full Penalty & Non-Refundable

CHANGES, DEVIATIONS, REDUCTIONS, CANCELLATIONS, REQUESTS FOR ACCOUNTING DETAILS
Once your deposit is paid, all requests for changes, deviations, reductions, cancellations, and accounting details should be notified immediately. Advising Serena's Sweet Escapes of reducing or cancelling your room block is explicitly your responsibility. You must send a clear request to reduce or cancel rooms, including room category and dates, via email. You should not consider your room block reduced or cancelled without a written email confirmation from Serena's Sweet Escapes acknowledging your request. It is your responsibility to ensure this is done on time prior to the reduction and cancellation deadlines. Failure to follow these steps will result in applicable penalties outlined above

TRAVEL CREDIT
Standard change and cancellation policies apply to new bookings made with travel credit. Travel credits are valid for travel commencing within 395 days from original departure date, must be used for travel commencing by expiration date, are nontransferable and nonrefundable, have no cash value, and are issued in the names of the adult (18+ years of age) passengers on the original reservation.

Vacation Protection Plan Plus [VPP+] with Pre-Departure Waiver

Pre-Departure Waiver and the following service are provided by Vacation Express and are not insurance benefits.

You can cancel your vacation for any reason and receive a refund in your original form of payment. VPP+ must be added to your booking within 7 days of deposit date or by final payment due date, whichever occurs first. Once purchased, your plan cost is non-refundable.

Cancellations:
You can cancel for any reason a minimum of 2 hours prior to original scheduled departure time as indicated in your travel documents or no later than 9AM local time of the hotel the day of arrival for hotel-only bookings. When you purchase the VPP+, you will receive a refund for the full package price in the original form of payment less the VPP+ plan cost [does not include change fees or reduced deposit plan fees].

Change Fee Waiver:
A one-time change fee, per person will be waived prior to final payment due date. This applies only to Vacation Express change fees per our Terms and Conditions Contract. This does not include airline change fees where applicable. No changes can be made to bookings with non-refundable hotel rates. Re-issuing of airline tickets or hotel deviations while in-destination will incur a $75 per person change fee.

Booking Price Drop Guarantee:
A one-time price adjustment is permitted per room and only applies to the land portion. The air portion of a booking is not eligible for price adjustment. All travelers in the room must have purchased insurance to qualify. Price adjustments must be requested prior to final payment due date and, if applicable, any refunds will be processed to the original form of payment unless otherwise requested for added tours, transfers or fees. This does not apply to non-refundable room categories. Pricing must be available at Vacation Express at time of the request and all components must match. You can cancel your vacation for any reason and receive a refund in the form of a future travel certificate. VPP must be added to your booking by final payment due date. Once purchased, your plan cost is non-refundable.

Cancellations:
You can cancel for any reason a minimum of 2 hours prior to original scheduled departure time as indicated in your travel documents or no later than 9AM local time of the hotel the day of arrival for hotel-only bookings. When you purchase the VPP, all applicable cancellation charges [does not include change fees or reduced deposit plan fees] as per your Terms and Conditions contract will be refunded in the form of Vacation Express future travel certificates, known as a VPP Voucher, less the VPP plan cost as follows:

Hotel only packages will receive a VPP voucher for the cost of the package, less the VPP plan cost. Scheduled-air packages will receive a VPP voucher for the cost of the hotel portion less the VPP plan cost along with the airline ticket numbers and be advised of the ticket cost. If you used the reduced deposit plan [RDP] for your booking you must have paid for your airline ticket, insurance and the cost of RDP in full in order to receive the airline ticket for future use. Travelers can use the cost of the airline ticket, less the airline change fee [up to $250 per ticket] to purchase a new ticket to:

  • The same Vacation Express destination on same carrier
  • A different Vacation Express destination on same carrier
  • Any destination that the issuing carrier serves. This option requires contacting the issuing airline directly for reservations.
Each airline carrier has different rules on rebooking travel, we recommend contacting the airline immediately to ensure you have the most updated information.

 

VPP Voucher Information:

  • Vouchers are issued in the original names of the passengers on the booking at the time of cancellation.
  • The vouchers are non-transferable and name changes will not be accepted.
  • Passengers have one year from original date of travel to rebook and travel using their voucher toward another package to any Vacation Express destination.
  • VPP can be repurchased when rebooking your vacation with the original VPP voucher, however your original voucher's expiration date will not change in the event you have to cancel your trip again.
  • Under no circumstances does the VPP allow for a full or partial cash refund, nor can it be extended.
  • Please check with your airline for their specific requirements.
