TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read the following terms and conditions. They limit our
(Overton Travel) liability and that of the air carriers, cruise lines, and tour
operators providing your trip arrangements. In addition, they outline the
conditions under which your trip will operate.
of payment—US Dollar check, bank check, money order, wire transfer,
major credit cards or debit cards, and Tzell payments are accepted. Credit card
and debit card payments will be processed upon submission of a completed
Overton Travel Credit Card Form. Third-party credit cards are not accepted.
Payments made by wire transfer must include an additional $25 wire transfer
fee. There is a $50 fee for returned checks.
Deposit—A non-refundable deposit of $400 per person is
required to book your space, unless another amount is stipulated by Overton Travel. We reserve the right to request additional
payment at any stage should supplier conditions so require. If departure date
is within 60 days, full payment will be required in lieu of deposit.
Final payment—Final payment is due on or
before the date stated in the Payment Information unless otherwise specified. If
there is any outstanding balance due after the final payment due date, all
travel services will be subject to automatic cancellation.
Cancellations—If you cancel your trip
please notify Overton Travel in writing. Upon receipt of notice the following

180 days or more prior to the trip: Deposit

If an individual in the group cancels and causes a roommate to be
accommodated in a room for sole occupancy, then no refund is given or the
single supplement may be charged.
Air tickets are
non-refundable once issued.
Late Booking Fee—A fee for additional
communications, faxes, and express mail costs will be charged when applicable.
Included in Tour Price
- Accommodations—As specified in the itinerary, or similar, will be provided in
hotels based on two persons sharing a twin bedded room with private bath
or shower where available. The right is reserved to substitute hotels,
camps, lodges when necessary. Service charges and taxes are included for

- Meals—Are provided as specified in each itinerary (B)—breakfast,
- Transfers—Between airports, rail stations, motorcoach terminals and hotels
are provided, when specified, throughout with one piece of luggage per
person. Passengers arriving or departing on flights other than those used
by the group must provide their own transportation or be subject to a
- Sightseeing—As specified in each
itinerary is in modern and comfortable transportation equipment with
English speaking drivers/guides.
Sightseeing tours may be changed due to weather, scheduling issues,
conditions at or near the site, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Not Included in Tour Price
- Costs of
obtaining passports, visas, inoculations, excess baggage charges, all
items of a personal nature such as drinks, laundry, telephone calls and
cables, meals not specified in the itinerary, travel protection.
- Gratuities—Tips to tour guides, drivers, game rangers, waiters, and cruise/hotel
staff are not included and are at the tour participant’s discretion.
Excursions—Participation in shore excursions while on
the cruise is at the discretion of the passenger and not included in the
Refunds—Will not be made for occasional missed meals or
services, nor for any absence from the tour, or for hotel accommodations not
Price Increase – I understand that prior to completion of full payment there is a potential for a price increase(s) due to fuel surcharges imposed by airlines, cruise lines, and/or transportation companies, as well as potential for increases in government-levied taxes and fees. I understand that once I complete full payment, there will be no price increases and that I may choose to accelerate full payment to avoid any price increases. Once issued, airline tickets are no longer subject to potential increases but are fully non-refundable.
Airline Baggage Allowance—Fees for
checked baggage may apply and vary by airline.

Visa/Inoculations—Visa and immunization requirements vary from country to country and
up-to-date information should be obtained from your local health department and
consulate. Visas may be required for some areas in the tour programs and again,
this information may be obtained from your local consulates.
Tour Documents—Tour documents, including airline tickets, are sent out about two weeks
prior to departure date, provided payment in full has been received. We can
only deliver paper documents to city addresses and not to P.O. Boxes.
Overnight, Special Delivery, Saturday Delivery and shipments outside the
continental USA are subject to additional fees.
Important Note—Tour arrangements are
intended for persons of reasonably good health and without physical
disabilities which would create a hazard either for the passenger or other
passengers. By forwarding deposit for passage, the passenger certifies that he
or she does not have any physical disability that might create a hazard for
themselves or other tour participants. Overton Travel reserves the right to
decline to accept or retain any person as a tour participant should such
person’s health or mental condition impede the operation of the tour.
Responsibility—Overton Travel, outfitters,
operators of the tours and/or subcontractors of services act only as agents for
the supplier in regards to travel, whether by plane, car, motorcoach, ship or
railroad and assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or
irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason or defect of any vehicle,
act of war, insurrection, revolt or other civil uprising, other military
action, strikes or any Act of God occurring in either the country of origin,
destination or through passage, or for any reason whatsoever, or through the
acts or default of any company or persons engaged in arrangements of the tour.
They cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to
delay or changes in air schedules or other causes. All such losses or expenses
will be the responsibility of the member of the tour, as the rates provided are
for the arrangements only at the time stated. The right is reserved to make any
adjustments to the itinerary and the right is reserved to cancel any tour prior
to departure. Overton Travel may not be held responsible for any loss or damage
to luggage, before, during or after the tour program. The acceptance of final vouchers
or tickets shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions.
Airline Responsibility Clause—The airlines
concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during
the time the passengers are not aboard their conveyance. The passenger contract
in use by the airlines concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract
between the airline and the purchaser of the ticket. Prices are based on
current rates and are subject to adjustment without notice.
NOTICE— Please be aware that during your
participation in a Overton Travel tour, certain risks and dangers may arise
including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas,
travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft or other means of conveyance, the
forces of nature, political unrest and accident or illness in remote regions
without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. Also be aware and
clearly understand that Overton Travel will not have liability regarding
provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be
rendered. You release Overton Travel and
its employees or contracted consultants from any and all claims, known or
unknown, arising from participation in a tour.
This agreement is binding on the client, his or her family and heirs,
legal representatives and assigns. If any portion of this agreement is
unenforceable the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
