- Wedding Day - Monday, April 28th, 2025
Due Dates:
- November 23rd, 2024 is the deadline to pay the $100 deposit to reserve your room at Secrets Akumal
- December 1st, 2024 is the due date of 40% of your room total.
- January 30th, 2025 is the due date for your remaining room balance.

- The wedding is on April 28th, 2025. Please schedule your trip before and after that date.

To be included in Megan and Jared's Wedding Activities, please only book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We offer low contracted group rates that have been secured by Megan and Jared with a deposit already paid on each room. To participate in all of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Secrets Akumal as part of the wedding group.
Cancellation policy:

If you cancel your reservation before December 1st, 2024 you are only responsible for the non-refundable $100 per room booking fee already paid as the deposit when you reserved your room. However, you can reduce the number of nights in your reservation up to this date without a fee (maintaining the 3 night minimum).

Between December 1st, 2024 and January 1st, 2025 up to 30% of the existing room nights may be cancelled without penalty. A penalty of 20% will apply to the remainder of the cancelled room nights.

Between January 1st, 2025 and February 1st, 2025 up to 20% of the existing room nights may be cancelled without penalty. A penalty of 40% will apply to the remainder of the cancelled room nights.

Between February 1st, 2025 and February 14th, 2025 up to 5% of the existing room nights may be cancelled without penalty. A penalty of 100% will apply to the remainder of the cancelled room nights.

If you cancel your reservation, no-show or reduce the number of nights or travelers in your reservation after February 14th, 2025, you are responsible for 100% of your room total.

If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on insurance providers terms.
Secrets Akumal will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.
Bohemia Wedding Travel is not an agent of Secrets Akumal and has no governance of refund policies and other rules mandated by Secrets Resorts.

Ground transportation costs to the resort and back to the airport is not included with your room reservation cost, but can be reserved for you on the booking form if you wish.
For Megan and Jared's wedding, we have secured direct, non-stop transfers with Mayaland at $152 per person, round trip. We highly! recommend that you select to include ground transportation when placing your room deposit so that you won’t forget about the option later and possibly become stranded at the airport with only expensive options. Ride share services like Uber are not viable in the Riviera Maya
