Sat Nam! We are really excited that you are joining Krishna for the Conscious Communication training in Ghana. This is your opportunity to join in a tour of Ghana after the training to sight-see in the Incredible Volta and absorb some of the local culture. By you joining this tour, a portion of the proceeds go to supporting a project which is dear to Krishna' heart: Y.O.G.A. for Youth. This program provides urban youth with tools for self-discovery that fosters hope, discipline and respect for self, others and community. In other words, you will change a life...and a community.

Trip Highlights:
Highlands and valley galore greet you as you make your way to the attractions of the Volta region to the Far East of the country. Known for its abundance of waterfalls, Ghana’s highest peak, sights and sounds of the Volta river and friendly village folk, you won’t come this far for nothing – not with the body moving, soul stirring razzmatazz of traditional Ewe music.....Can you hear it?

Itinerary
Day 1: Thursday February 20, 2020 - Gardens and Dipo Beads
Embark on an adventure up the Aburi mountains. Discover the names and uses of the myriad plant species in the lush green curated Botanical Gardens. Spend a moment in meditation. Beware the birds lullaby; might lure you to sleep. Pause at a beads-making center where you can try your hands on creating your own unique beads from scratch. "Dipo" beads are an important expression of an individuals spirituality, social connection and beauty. Special "Dipo" beads were created and worn with pride by young maidens who passed the test of virginity.
Check out the Adowa night club in your hotel.
Day 2: Friday February 21, 2020 - Monkey Sanctuary and Waterfalls
Breakfast
Get set for an exciting adventure with the enchanting endangered mona monkeys at the Tafi Atome monkey sanctuary and cultural village.
Hike to the highest waterfall in West Africa with over 200 feet of cascading Agumatsa (meandering) river water. How many times do you cross the river during the hike? Do you hear the cry of the fruit bats? Don’t think, just dive into the pool and immerse yourself under the refreshing waterfall. Resurface for a packed lunch at the waterfalls.
Return to your hotel for a well earned rest.
Day 3: Saturday, February 22, 2020 - Party on the Volta Lake
Breakfast and hotel check out.
Bring your dancing shoes. Its party time aboard the MV Dodi Princess with a live band as you cruise on the Volta Lake. Lunch and drinks.
Take a closer look at the Hydro Dam that supplies energy for Ghana. Arrive in Accra and embark on a brief city tour and last minute shopping. Final drop off at your hotel to prepare for flight home! (You will be dropped off at your hotel or airport for your flight home).
End of tour (Recommendation: Book a late flight for departure to USA.)

If you need to cancel, you must notify EUPHORIA TRAVEL ALLIANCE in writing! All cancellations will be processed and refunded less initial deposit and applicable penalties. Cancellation fees: Up to 60 days prior to departure = Non-refundable deposit of $100. Between 59 - 45 days prior to departure = Non-refundable deposit + a $150 fee; 44 days up to 14 January 2020 = 100% of the total cost of package.
