Overnight for the next two nights in a standard room on a bed and breakfast basis.

DAY 2 – CAIRO (B, L)

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full-day tour of the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Visit the legendary Pyramids of Giza, followed by the imposing Great Sphinx, dating back to the reign of Chephren (2620 BC). Carved from natural limestone, the Sphinx stands 65 feet high and 187 feet long, combining the head of a pharaoh with the body of a lion.

Grand Egyptian Museum

Next, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological museum in the world. The museum houses approximately 100,000 artifacts, including the complete collection from King Tutankhamun’s tomb, many displayed publicly for the first time. Built near—but not directly on—the Giza Plateau, the museum includes exhibition galleries, a conservation center, a conference center with a 3D cinema, retail outlets, and restaurants.

Lunch is included. Return to your hotel for overnight.
