Upon arrival, you will be greeted with our local guide who will escort to transfer to the hotel in Ubud. Upon arrive at hotel, check in and Welcome Drink will be served.

The rest of day is free at your leisure until this evening, enjoy your Welcome Dinner at hotel

04OCT2024 BALI SWING,  TEGENUNGAN, MONKEY FOREST & UBUD MARKET   (B/L)

Today, we depart the hotel for a full-day tour around Ubud. 

First you have a ‘Real Bali Swing to experience one or several of the 7 Swings from 10 to 78 m high! (**note that the queue for the swing could be 45 minutes – 1 hour long). Bali Swing will offer you exciting experiences and amazing views, which more introduce you the beauty of the island of Bali.

Enjoy an amazing view on the canyon and river waterfall. Swinging over the Ayung valley, enjoy the natural vibes of the Ayung River, and take the moment with a natural spot of photography in your genuine pose. Try your adrenaline with all the swing that is available on the spot with unlimited as long as you feel comfortable. Let your stress be released by trying this popular attraction in Bali.

Lunch will be served at Bali Swing.

Afterwards, we visit will drive to Tegenungan Waterfall. Typical scene around Tegenungan Waterfall is genuinely delightful, with green trees and beautiful. 

We continue to visit Mandala Suci Wenara Wana, well known as Monkey Forest, is the sanctuary and natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed Monkey, scientific name Macaca Fascicularis. About 1049 monkeys live in this sanctuary. They are divided into 6 groups, namely in front of main temple group, forest conservation group, central point group, eastern group, Michelin group, and cemeteries group.

Before we get back to hotel, we have a stop at Ubud Market, which is strategically located at the opposite of Ubud Royal Palace. This is the place where you will find delicate art works of the locals. 

**Remark: Ubud Market is still under reconstruction but the client is able to stroll around the area with local art shop art shop available near the Ubud market.

13:00 – 13:40 : Transfer to Tegenungan Waterfall

13:40 – 15:00 : Visit Tegenungan Waterfall

15:00 – 15:30 : Transfer to Monkey Forest

15:30 – 16:30 : Visit monkey Forest

16:30 – 17:30 : Transfer to Ubud center and visit Ubud Market

17:30 – 17:45 : Transfer back to hotel

05OCT2024 COOKING CLASS/ JATILUWIH RICE FIELD     (B/L)

This morning, enjoy the opportunity to explore the secret life of the villagers through the experience of cooking experience at Rumah Desa (Balinese Local House). 

This Cooking Class gives you a great opportunity to discover the secrets of the authentic Balinese cuisine. The cooking class starts with visiting a traditional market, where you can explore all kinds of spices, ingredients that are used for cooking Balinese food and it is also a good chance to know more about social life of Balinese. The friendly host will not only show you how to cook Balinese food but also tell you the philosophy behind the cooking. 

After enjoy a lunch with the meal that you created. We continue to Jatiluwih for a soft trekking in rice field for around 30 – 1 hour. This area is well known for panoramic rice fields, listed as one of the World Heritages sites by UNESCO and one of the most photographed sites of Bali. For the Balinese, cultivation of land is a creative art and a communal effort, and the people of Bali have created a true masterpiece - an endless and intricate jigsaw of finely curved rice terraces in brilliant shades of green, with glistening waters, so soothing to the eye.  

We transfer back to hotel in the afternoon and the rest of day is at leisure.

09.45 – 11.00 : Travel to Rumah Desa

11.00 – 14:00 : Balinese house compound visit and explanation architecture of Balinese  

  house, Balinese daily Life : offering, Herbal medicine “Boreh”, Bamboo   

  and Coconut leaf craft, Healthy welcome drink and Balinese Cake),  

  cooking introduction and start cooking class, and Lunch (family style)

14:00 – 14.30 : Transfer to Jatiluwih 

14.30 – 15:30 : Soft trek in Jatiluwih Rice Field

15.30 – 16.30 : Transfer back to Ubud

06OCT2024 ELEPHANT MUD FUN – TANAH LOT – TRANSFER TP SANUR     (B/L)

Get ready for a wild adventure! 

This morning, enjoy an incredible experience ‘Elephant Bathing’. Elephant Mud Fun half-day package allowing guest to get down and dirty with Sumatran elephants while discovering all about their behavior and lifestyle. You’ll learn interesting facts such as, it is very common to find elephants basking in mud during the summer months because their high body temperature generates a great deal of metabolic heat. And with no sweat glands to relieve their internal thermometers they rely on mud to stay cool and protect themselves from the heat of the sun because even though their hide looks tough, elephants can actually get sunburned. 

After lunch at a local restaurant, your next visit and highlight of this tour waits at the coast. The famous Tanah Lot Temple is one of the holiest temples in Bali which is built atop a huge rock, surrounded by the ocean and soaks in the mystical atmosphere.

Afterwards you will transferred to your hotel in South Bali to check in.

The rest of day is free at leisure.

07OCT2024 SPA DAY EXPERIENCE (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. 

Enjoy Floating Breakfast and Flower Bath once during your stay at the resort.

Enjoy SPA Experience at the hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure. 

Balinese Massage 60 Minutes

Using Traditional Balinese techniques with firm finger and palm pressure and nominal oil to ease away all bodily tension. Invigorate the senses.

** Note: Maya Sanur has only 6 rooms with maximal 12 pax per session.

08OCT2024 ULUWATU, KECAK DANCE AND SEAFOOD DINNER     (B/D)

Breakfast at the hotel and day at leisure.

This afternoon to depart for Uluwatu, Kecak Dance and Seafood Dinner on The Beach to experience an evening of Kecak dancing at a cliff top temple followed by a barbeque seafood dinner under the stars. 

In the late afternoon you will be taken to the location of the famous cliff hanging temple at Uluwatu. Perched on the edge of a steep cliff, the temple sits 70 metres above the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean. The temple is inhabited by a large number of monkeys, many of whom can be found roaming the pathways. As the sun sets over the glittering ocean, watch a dramatic Kecak Dance or Ramayana Monkey Chant performance at the temple. Wearing traditional checked cloth around their waists, the male dancers chant in unison while depicting a battle from the Ramayana. 

After the performance drive to one of the beautiful beaches in Jimbaran for a Seafood Dinner before we return to the hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back to the US (flight cost is NOT included.)
