Enjoy your private ground transfer as you explore the scenery of Guatemala in an air conditioned vehicle. Transfer time will be around 1 hour and 15 minutes. At your hotel, you will be greeted by your host and checked-in to your room. You can unpack and relax before the Welcome Reception with the artist and other attendees on the hotel rooftop in the evening.
    • Day 2 - March 7 | Antigua, Guatemala: On our first full day together, we will begin with a morning art class with Watercolor Artist Jean Francois Arnaud. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to put your painting to practice and explore the Old Town of Antigua. Our hotel is walking distance away from the historical center as well as many restaurants and shops.
    • Day 3 - March 8 | Antigua, Guatemala:  We will start the day with a half-day walking tour of Antigua. Antigua is among the world’s best conserved colonial cities. It is known for its Spanish Baroque-influenced architecture and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once at the Central Plaza you will see some of the most distinguishable buildings of Antigua. Be sure to pack your sketchbook and plein air set-up, as this area of the city is known for its tree-lined streets and colonial buildings.
    • Day 4 - March 9 | Lake Atitlán, Guatemala:  Surrounded by Botanical Gardens, we head to our hotel in Lake Atitlán, situated ten minutes from the main town of Panajachel on what once was the estate of a family-owned coffee plantation. Upon checking in, enjoy the property's meticulously cultivated botanical gardens or take a swim in the infinity pool that overlooks Lake Atitlán and the majestic Atitlán, Toliman and San Pedro volcanoes.
    • Day 5 -March 10 | Lake Atitlán, Guatemala:  We will start the day with breakfast together and continue to our watercolor workshop on the beautiful hotel property gardens overlooking the lake and Guatemala's natural beauty. After your morning workshop, enjoy free time the rest of the day to explore the town of Panajachel, plein air paint in the gardens, or relax by the infinity pool.
    • Day 6 - March 11 | Lake Atitlán, Guatemala:  Today, we will tour Lake Atitlán and surrounding villages. Be sure to bring your sketchbook if you want to paint or urban sketch on-site. Our tour starts with a private boat transfer to two of the twelve villages that surround Lake Atitlán. You will get to see the villages of San Juan and Santiago, which are famous for their naïf art galleries, town murals and natural dyes textiles.
    • Day 7 - March 12 | Lake Atitlán, Guatemala: We will start the day with breakfast together and continue to our watercolor workshop on the beautiful hotel property on Lake Atitlan. After the workshop, enjoy the property’s meticulously cultivated botanical gardens or take a swim in and a farewell dinner together in the evening.
    • Day 8 - March 13 | Departure Day: Today, we bid each other farewell and you will be transferred to the airport in a private, air-conditioned vehicle for your departure home.
