Welcome to Alaska!

 
Expect dramatic landscapes featuring glaciers, mountains, and fjords!  Plus, you will experience unmatched opportunities to see whales, bears, eagles, and other wildlife. You'll also visit charming port towns with options to hike, explore, and learn about Alaskan history and Indigenous cultures. 
 
And don't forget the quilting!  Quilters will enjoy a special Alaskan-themed quilt workshop by artist Kim Brownell, plus access to a 24-hour sewing room to quilt the hours away!  A special port by port quilt shop hop will be an exciting option you won't want to miss.
 
All of this, while enjoying the majestic grandeur of Holland America's Noordam ship - unlimited food, fun, and entertainment all week long!

  1. Airfare to Seattle
  2. Gratuities
  3. Project - be sure to bring your own UFO, WIP, or brand new quilting project!
  4. Supplies - since everyone will be working on different projects, you will need to bring your own sewing supplies such as material, batting, interfacing, thread, etc.  Supply lists and material kits information for the workshops will be sent out prior to the cruise so you can be sure to have everything on hand that you need.
 
 

Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Seattle - Arrive and start enjoying the majestic Noordam!  Ship departs at 3 pm for scenic cruising through the Puget Sound.
 
  • Day 2: At Sea - this is your quilt workshop day with Kim Brownell!
 
  • Day 3: Juneau, Alaska
 
  • Day 4:  Scenic Cruising to the Endicott Arms/Dawes Glaciers
 
  • Day 5:  Sitka, Alaska
 
  • Day 6:  Ketchikan, Alaska
 
  • Day 7: Victoria, British Columbia
 
  • Day 8:  Arrive back in Seattle at 7 am, ready for your next adventure!
 
 
 

Cancellation policy:

$400 Deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations prior to March 4, 2026, are eligible for a full refund, minus the deposit.
Cancellations from March 4 to May 4, 2026 will receive a partial refund in future cruise credit.
Cancellations after May 4, 2026, are non-refundable, but may receive a partial future cruise credit.

This is the all-inclusive package for Quirky Quilter companions who do not wish to participate in the workshops/lectures/sewing room, but want to enjoy the cruise while their companion is happily sewing!  Companions will still be welcome at all special cocktail hours, dinners, and shore excursions, but will not be admitted to the sewing room.
