After breakfast at the hotel, you begin your sightseeing tour. Your tour will begins at the most famous tourist spots in Bangkok: the Royal Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha. The Grand Palace adjoins Wat Pho Kaew in a common compound and is where you will end up after exiting Wat Phra Kaew. Despite the proximity of the two, there is a distinct contrast in style between the very Thai Wat Pho Kaew and the more European inspired designs, of the Grand Palace the roof being the exception.
Next, you will visit Wat Po, the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok, and also the temple holding the largest single Buddha image: the Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas). This temple is also known as the birthplace of Thai traditional massage. Then we will go for lunch at a local restaurant, after which, we will continue to visit Wat Arun, perhaps better known as the Temple of the Dawn, is one of the best-known landmarks and most published images of Bangkok.
After this, we will take local public express boat to Ratchawong pier, then take vehicle transfer to Yaowarat Road where you will visit an interesting shop selling bird’s nests and shark fins, continue to a very old tea shop to enjoy a cup of Chinese tea with the locals before heading down Trok Leng Moi EIA (a small alley) to Talad Kao for an interesting local market with a variety of fresh foods, fresh & dry fruits, Chinese herbs, and groceries. At the end, take the walk at Wat Leng Neng Yee to visit the Taoist temple. After this, we will return to the hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure.
