Friday March 28th - You've arrived! (D)

Arrival in Paris, Meet & Greet Arrival & Private Transfer from GDG airport to La Maison Favart.
 
Enjoy your first two nights at La Maison Favart. Bordering one of Paris 2nd arrondissement's most exquisite squares, it bears the name of the famous FAVART couple, founders of the Comic Opera in Paris.  You will be transported into their world, immersed in an exciting, surprising and a 18th century Parisian decor; you will discover a theatrical jewel-box, rich in detail yet discreet, in the very heart of Paris.

Saturday March 29: Panoramic tour of Paris with private Guide and Driver. (B,L)

Let's dive headfirst into Parisian magic! We'll start with whispers of war heroes at Les Invalides, then get lost in the charming labyrinth of Ile de la Cité, culminating with awe-inspiring Notre Dame. Unleashing our inner chefs with a fun French cooking class followed by a group lunch, we'll fuel up for an afternoon of cruising down the Champs-Elysées, "the most beautiful avenue in the world." If time allows, we'll top it all off with a breathtaking view from Montmartre, forever etching this Parisian adventure into our hearts.
 
 
Evening: on own... Perhaps climb the Eiffel Tower? This magnificent structure is open most nights till midnight.
 
 

 

 

Sunday, March 30: Versailles and Giverny (B)

Bid farewell to the quaint charm of La Maison Favart as we board our coach and set off towards the grandeur of Versailles. Our guide and driver, like fairy godparents, will whisk us away at 8:00 am sharp. Get ready to be swept off your feet by the magnificence of Versailles Castle –Explore the opulent splendor of Versailles, where the grandeur of the palace and its stunning gardens transport you to a bygone era of French royalty. Wander through the Hall of Mirrors, admire the intricate artwork, and stroll the meticulously landscaped grounds, experiencing the pinnacle of French luxury and history. The Palace of Versailles, spanning over 67,000 square meters with its 2,300 rooms, is surrounded by nearly 2000 acres of breathtaking gardens and parkland, making it one of the most magnificent and expansive royal residences in the world.
 
 

 
A quick stop on the way to Giverny, stopping at Le Baudy in Giverny so you can have your lunch. But the magic doesn't stop there! We'll then immerse ourselves in the beauty of Monet's Gardens, a whimsical wonderland bursting with color, before finally taking the road to Bayeux, hearts brimming with the day's unforgettable experiences.

Join us on this unforgettable day tour as we journey to the D-Day landing beaches, hallowed ground forever marked by courage and sacrifice.

We'll start at 9 am, your guide, an expert storyteller, waiting to whisk you back to that pivotal day. Stand on the very sands of Utah and Omaha Beaches, where American heroes stared down the impossible and defied the odds. Feel the weight of history as you gaze upon the towering cliffs of Pointe du Hoc, a silent testament to the unwavering resolve of the Rangers. April 2nd, Wednesday: Loire Valley, Chenonceau and The Royal Chateau of Amboise (B)

Buckle up for a whirlwind adventure to a place fit for royalty! Today, we embark on a quest to conquer Chambord, the Loire Valley's crown jewel, and rightfully dubbed a "masterpiece of the world."

Imagine yourself transported to the Renaissance, where King Francis I, brimming with triumph after the Battle of Marignan, envisioned a castle unlike any other. This wasn't just a residence; it was a symbol of power and artistic grandeur, and you're about to step inside its awe-inspiring walls.

Explore lavish chambers that whisper tales of courtly life, marvel at the iconic double-spiral staircase, and lose yourself in the sheer opulence of this architectural marvel. With UNESCO World Heritage status, Chambord boasts a rich history that comes alive with every step you take.

To book a trip with Fancy Fox Travel, you must complete the online booking form and submit payment. Once payment is received, Fancy Fox Travel will send you a confirmation email with your booking details.

3. Payment

All deposits must be made  at the time of booking. Fancy Fox Travel accepts payment by credit card, debit card, and bank check.

4. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your trip, please contact Fancy Fox Travel as soon as possible. All cancellations need to be made 100 days prior to travel (December 18th) or deposit will be non-refundable.

5. Changes to Bookings

If you need to make any changes to your booking, please contact Fancy Fox Travel as soon as possible. Changes may be subject to additional fees.

6. Travel Insurance

Fancy Fox Travel strongly recommends that you purchase travel insurance to protect you in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance is not included in the price of your trip.

7. Passports and Visas

It is crucial that you verify your passport's validity, ensuring it remains valid for at least six months beyond your scheduled return date. Additionally, ensure you have any necessary visas for your trip. Fancy Fox Travel cannot be held responsible for any delays or expenses resulting from inadequate documentation. Your proactive attention to these requirements contributes to a seamless travel experience.

8. Health and Safety

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health and fit to travel. Fancy Fox Travel is not responsible for any medical expenses incurred while traveling.

9. Liability

Fancy Fox Travel is not liable for any loss or damage to your personal belongings while traveling. Fancy Fox Travel is also not liable for any delays, cancellations, or changes to your trip caused by force majeure events, such as weather, natural disasters, or political unrest.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.

11. Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Fancy Fox Travel and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
