Each summer, the opening of lobster season turns the island into one big celebration — with street festivals, live entertainment, and creative lobster dishes you won’t find anywhere else.
But this journey is more than just a festival… it’s a full Belize experience.
Our adventure will take us beyond the island and into the lush Belizean jungle, where we’ll stay surrounded by nature and explore one of the country’s most fascinating treasures — ancient Mayan ruins that tell the story of a powerful civilization that once thrived here. Walking among these temples and towering structures is a moment that makes you pause and realize just how incredible this place really is.
From snorkeling along the world-famous Belize Barrier Reef to dancing under the Caribbean stars during Lobsterfest, and from jungle adventures to stepping back in time at the ruins, this trip blends celebration, culture, adventure, and relaxation in a way few destinations can.
As your host, I’ll be there with you throughout the journey — helping coordinate experiences, sharing insider tips, and making sure everything runs smoothly so you can simply relax and enjoy the adventure.

Itinerary Overview
Day 1 – July 7, 2026 | Arrival in Belize & Transfer to the Jungle (Cayo District)
Welcome to Belize! Upon arrival at Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE), you’ll be transferred to the lush inland region of San Ignacio in the Cayo District.
Check in to the beautiful Chaa Creek Resort, where you’ll stay in a Deluxe Cottage with breakfast included. Nestled in the Belizean jungle, this award-winning eco-lodge offers the perfect introduction to Belize’s natural beauty.
Host Welcome:
This evening we’ll gather for a welcome drink at the resort so everyone can meet, relax after the journey, and kick off our Belize adventure together.
Day 2 – July 8, 2026 | Exploring the Maya Ruins of Xunantunich
Today we journey back in time with a guided tour of the impressive Maya ruins of Xunantunich.
Located high above the Mopan River, this archaeological site features the towering El Castillo pyramid, offering sweeping views of the surrounding jungle and nearby Guatemala.
After returning to the resort, the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.
Day 3 – July 9, 2026 | Leisure Day in San Ignacio
Today is yours to relax and explore the area at your own pace.
You may choose to enjoy the resort amenities, explore the town of San Ignacio, or join one of Belize’s incredible adventure experiences. Optional excursions I highly recommend include:
• Cave tubing through underground river systems
• The famous ATM Cave (Actun Tunichil Muknal) adventure
• A visit to the Belize Zoo, known for its rescued native wildlife
Day 4 – July 10, 2026 | Journey to Ambergris Caye
This morning we depart the jungle and travel toward the coast.
You’ll transfer from Chaa Creek Resort to Belize City, where we’ll board the water taxi to Ambergris Caye, Belize’s most popular island destination.
Upon arrival, check in to Mahogany Bay Resort, staying in a charming Keeping Cottage with breakfast included.
Host Welcome:
Once everyone has settled in, we’ll gather for a casual welcome drink to celebrate our arrival on the island and ease into the relaxed rhythm of Caribbean life.
Day 5 – July 11, 2026 | Island Leisure & Reef Adventures
Enjoy a full day to relax and explore the island at your own pace.
Ambergris Caye is known for its turquoise waters, vibrant marine life, and laid-back Caribbean atmosphere. Optional activities I recommend include:
• Snorkeling at Shark Ray Alley
• Scuba diving along the Belize Barrier Reef
• Visiting the famous Secret Beach
• A day trip to the charming island of Caye Caulker
Day 6 – July 12, 2026 | Belize Lobsterfest Celebration
Today is all about the island’s biggest celebration — Belize Lobsterfest.
Spend the day relaxing, exploring San Pedro, or enjoying an optional excursion. In the evening, the town square comes alive with the Lobsterfest block party, filled with music, dancing, and incredible lobster dishes prepared in every way imaginable.
It’s a vibrant celebration of Belizean culture and the perfect way to end our island adventure.
Day 7 – July 13, 2026 | Departure Day
After breakfast, check out of the resort and transfer to the water taxi terminal, followed by your transfer to Belize International Airport (BZE) for your return flight home.
You’ll head home with unforgettable memories of Belize’s jungles, ancient Maya history, beautiful Caribbean waters, and the festive spirit of Lobsterfest.
Payment Terms
To reserve your place on this hosted Belize Lobsterfest experience, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Your reservation will be confirmed once the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to departure (May 7, 2026). However, I highly reccommend finalizing payments several days in advance to allow for any processing delays
Payments not received by the final payment deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation and applicable penalties.
Cancellation Policy
• All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
• The initial deposit is non-refundable.
• Full payments received according to the policy requirements are non-refundable.
• Cancellations made within the 60-day final payment window will incur a 100% cancellation penalty.
• Any unused portion of a confirmed trip is non-refundable, including accommodations, transfers, tours, or other services.
Refund Policy
All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the scheduled return date.
• Any claim for refund must include all negotiable vouchers and supporting documentation.
• No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the trip.
• No refunds will be made for missed transfers, sightseeing tours, or other services due to airline schedule changes or delays.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in the trip price but is strongly recommended to protect your investment. Coverage may include trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical coverage, and travel delays.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance within 14 days of your initial deposit for the best coverage options.
