Join me in the fun. This trip to Mackinac Island is REALLY special! Mackinac Island is one of my favorite places and voted one of the best and most magical islands in the world! In fall it’s even more spectacular!
Mackinac Island is just magical. There are no cars on the island. It’s like you’ve stepped back in time. The island is filled with history, gorgeous scenery, amazing fall hike and walk and lots of gourmet food and wine too. Not to mention the best fudge EVER! We’ll experience it all. Plus, there are no big crowds in fall! The island will be all ours! It’s a shoppers paradise too! All the boutiques are closing for the season so they need to sell all their merchandise! There are AMAZING deals! I love to shop! I love a good deal! This trip has it all!
We’ll spend 3 glorious nights on beautiful Mackinac Island! We’ll come home from the vacation with new friends and memories that will last us a lifetime. Oh and loads of fudge too! That’s what my trips are all about. Delicious food and lots of special memories! I work hard to make them extra special, stress free and a cut above the rest. Plus because we are a group I negotiate the very best deals! My trips are a great value!
We’ll be there while the fall leaves are at their peak! It’s going to be stunning!
On my trips we stay at the very best hotels. The Mission Point Resort is my very favorite hotel on the island! In fact it’s been voted one of the best resorts in the Midwest. The grounds are spectacular! The lobby and hotel rooms have just been renovated. It’s AMAZING! The grounds are spectacular!
It’s right on the water! I love to just relax and sit on the massive lawn in an Adirondack chair and watch the freighters go by on Lake Huron. You may even get to witness a wedding on the lawn!
The hotel lobby is my favorite! It’s a great place to just hang out. I love the huge fireplaces!
The hotel rooms have all recently been re-done and they are so clean, fresh, and cute! Pack a swimsuit because there are a big outdoor swimming pool and two hot tubs. There’s even a large movie theater where you can see the famous movie, Somewhere in Time, which was filmed on the island. If you like mini golf, there’s also a really fun putting course, and no need to bring your clubs. You can use theirs. After exploring the island all day, you can unwind with a massage, facial or pedicure in their full spa!
One of the other things I really love about Mission Point is the food. Every meal I’ve eaten has been absolutely delicious!
Morning starts with a big gourmet cooked-to-order breakfast. NO BUFFETS! You can wake up and eat breakfast when you want and you’ll get to order off their delicious menu. Plus, it’s INCLUDED every morning!
There’s so much to do on the island! You’ll have lots of optional add-ons like a sunset cocktail sail under the Mackinac Bridge. Talk about memories. It’s spectacular!
One of my favorite things to do on the island is take a private carriage ride. This, too, will be an option. You’ll get to see so much gorgeous scenery like the famous Arch Rock (HUGE), the historic Grand Hotel, beautiful victorian summer cottages and so much more!
Included in this trip is something else really special! We’ll get into the best fudge shop on the island early in the morning before they open. We’ll get to see how it’s made, which is so cool! We’ll get to sample a bunch too! Last trip, our group even got to try the fudge warm right off the marble slab. It was so yummy!
This trip leaves out of Wisconsin. If you’re flying to join us, it’s best to fly into the Green Bay airport on Oct. 21, Then you can spend a night at a Green Bay Area hotel and meet us our bus pick up the morning of Oct. 22.
Mackinac Island is about a 4 hour drive from Green Bay, Wisconsin. A super comfy motor coach will make stops to pick groups up in both Sheboygan and in the Green Bay area. We’ll make the 4-hour drive to St. Ignace, stopping halfway for a lovely wine tasting and lunch. Then, once we get to St. Ignace, we’ll take a short, beautiful ferry ride over to the island. When we get to the island we’ll take a private carriage ride to the resort, check in and get settled. That night, I’ll be hosting a big wine and cheese welcome party at our hotel.
Then, we’ll sit down for a delicious included gourmet dinner with your choice of fresh Lake Michigan Whitefish or steak.
As I mentioned, your cooked-to-order breakfast at our resort will be included every morning! From Eggs Benedict, to omelets , pancakes, French Toast and more! It’s amazing! What a great way to start the day!
I hope you’ll join me in October for this incredible fun-filled trip! We can only take a limited number of people. This trip is a killer deal and will sell out quick! So don’t wait to book! Join in the fun!
