Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas boasts a variety of exceptional restaurants which provide a superb selection of buffet and à la cartedinner choices. Recently revamped menus now offer a wide range of cuisine and finer ingredients at the à la carte restaurants, as well as the incorporation of a vegetarian menu in all restaurants. The buffet restaurant has a special theme twice per week, and à la carte choices include Fusion, Japanese, a Grill Steakhouse, and Mexican. The five bars, including two swim-up bars, serve unlimited drinks and pool area beverage service is available throughout the day. You can even enjoy free unlimited access to Splash Water World at Riu Santa Fe!

In the evening, be entertained by a live show or dance to your favorite tunes at the disco, open six nights a week. Children ages 4-12 can enjoy activities and a playground at RiuLand Mini-Club. Non-motorized watersports are available nearby for a fee and golf is just a short distance away.

Yes, the passport is always required to travel for US Citizens.

How can I book flights?

In order to book flights through Memoir Travels and Events please let us know the departure city and we shall email the best available fares. The second option is you can also look & book fares online through Priceline or Expedia or any other online flight booking portal.

PASSPORT, VISA & IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS 
It is your responsibility to obtain information and to have in possession all the required documentation and identification required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region.  This includes a valid passport and travel documents required by the relevant governmental authorities including all Visas, Permits and Certificates (including but not limited to Vaccinations or Medical Certificates) and insurance policies.  You must have a Passport that is valid 6 months after the last day of travel with MTAE as set on your itinerary.  You accept responsibility for obtaining all such documents, visas and permits prior to start of your Tour, and you are solely responsible for the full amount of the costs incurred as a result of missing or defective documents.  You agree that you are responsible for the full amount of loss or expenses incurred by MTAE that is direct result of your failure to secure or be in possession of proper documentation.  MTAE DOES NOT PROVIDE ADVISE ON TRAVEL DOCUMENTS and make no representations or warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on Visas, Vaccinations, Climate, Clothing, Certification, Baggage or Special Equipment and you agree that MTAE is not responsible for errors or omissions in this information.
You must at all times strictly comply with all applicable laws and regulations of all countries and regions.  Should you fail to comply with the above or commit any illegal act when on Tour or acting unreasonable, your behavior is likely to cause danger, distress or material annoyance to others, The Tour Operator may TERMINATE YOUR TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS on any product or service immediately at your expense and without any liability on the MTAE part.  You will not be entitled to any refund for unused or missed services or costs incurred as a result of termination of travel arrangements, including without limitations, return travel, accommodations, meals and incidentals.  You are responsible for any costs (including repair, replacement and cleaning fees) incurred by MTAE OR MTAE Suppliers for property damage, destruction or theft caused by you while on tour.  You agree to immediately report any preexisting damage to a representative or MTAE staff of the accommodations, transportation service, or facility as soon as possible upon discovery.  You agree to take all prudent measures in relation to your own safety.
 

Memoir Travels and Events Policy:

Safety while on Tour including, but not limited to proper use of safety devices (including seat belts, harnesses, helmets and flotation devices) and obeying all posted *No and oral or written warnings regarding health and safety.   Neither MTAE nor its suppliers are liable for loss or damages caused by your failure to comply with safety instructions.  MTAE AGENCY AND/OR STAFF ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS. All Deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Add Travel Protection Coverage to protect your trip payments excluding nonrefundable deposit.

RATES AND SPACE ARE LIMITED TO AVAILIBILITY

 

A Passport is required for this trip. Your passport must be valid 6 months after the return date for any international travel. Please register in your Full Legal Name as it appears on your Passport. Rates are not guaranteed until your deposit payment is received. The deposit payment per guest(s) will hold your room at the quoted rate. Room rates are based on the total occupancy (Single/Double/Triple). If Double or Triple Occupancy is selected as your package, each guest must pay their deposit payment within 24 hours of the first initial traveler deposit payment has been received. If not, the total package price will be adjusted to number of travelers who paid their deposit. Please adhere to the Payment Schedule Selected.  It’s important that you adhere to final payment deadline.  Memoir Travels and Events does no send out monthly notifications. You are responsible for keeping up with your payments and making payments on time. Not paying your invoice on time according to the final payment deadline will cause room cancellation for every guest in room and may cause you to lose add on within your package. All guest(s) on the reservation must be up to date with their payments.  Please notify email Memoir Travels and Events of a cancellation in writing 48 hours before final payment. If cancellation occurs and the occupancy of the room falls below the initial occupancy, payments must be paid to satisfy the adjusted room rate. Any new guest added to reservation will have to make all scheduled payments up to date. The Hotel will require you to present a valid Passport, credit or debit card at check-in. The card is required for any mandatory fee as well as any additional hotel incidental charges such as spa services or phone calls which are not included in the room rate. Room assignment is at the Hotel discretion and can change at any time. Airfare is not included. Please contact Memoir Travels and Events to book separate. If booked directly with air transportation, please email itinerary to Memoir Travels and Events to schedule your included airport transportation.  Your Itinerary and Confirmation email will go out 2 weeks before your arrival date. Transportation services are only for guest flying into Cabo Airport must provide their flight itineraries to Memoir Travels and Events before June 20, 2025. If we don't receive it by then, travelers will be responsible for their own transfers. Travel Insurance is not included. We strongly recommend you protect your investment. Each guest is responsible for purchasing their own Travel Insurance. We are not responsible for any flight changes, delays or cancellations beyond our control. Memoir Travels and Events shall not be liable, for any personal injury, property damage, inconvenience, loss of time, or any other loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising out of any act, omission or negligence of any direct air carrier, motor coach company, hotel or any other person rendering any service or providing any accommodation or event in conjunction with the travel package. Memoir Travels and Events shall not be liable, for any injury, loss or damage, direct or indirect, sustained as a result of theft, accident, mechanical breakdown, Government action (Deployment), weather, act of God, failure to make timely payments, or any other reason beyond Memoir Travels and Events control. We reserve the right to make any changes to the hotel/resort, vendors, tours/excursions, itinerary and/or entertainment lineup.

If you did NOT purchase Travel Protection, all resort fees (payments) are non-refundable, any refund due for airfare based on airline guidelines. If you purchased Travel Protection your refund will be in the form of a future travel credit.  Future travel credits are valid for 12 months from date of issue and must be used for travel commencing prior to expiration date, are nontransferable and nonrefundable, have no cash value, and are issued in the name of the passengers on the original reservation. Standard change and cancellation policies apply to bookings made with future travel credits. Future travel credits will be held on the original booking. All changes and cancellations are subject to availability, limitations, restrictions and fees imposed by Agency and its airline, hotel and feature/excursion suppliers. Certain excursion operators only allow a refund if canceled upon notice to them. Contact the excursion company for the applicable notice provision and to arrange a refund.
