Please review these Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting any payment. By paying your deposit or any portion of your trip, you are entering into a binding agreement with Platinum Getaways Travel Agency (“PGTAgency”) and agree to all terms below.

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By booking a trip through Platinum Getaways Travel Agency (PGTAgency), you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted all relevant details of your trip, including: itinerary, pricing, payment schedule, inclusions/exclusions, vendor terms, cancellation policies, and disclaimers.

By submitting payment, you:

 

  • Agree to abide by these terms and any updated terms communicated in writing.

  • Waive the right to dispute or challenge these terms, including through chargeback or third-party complaint.

 

2. DEPOSITS & NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENTS

 

 

  • ALL INITIAL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE regardless of reason, including personal cancellations, illness, travel restrictions, financial hardship, dissatisfaction, or vendor policies.

  • Additional non-refundable fees (planning fees, service charges) will be clearly noted at time of booking and are also non-refundable under all circumstances.

 

3. TRAVEL INSURANCE & REFUND ELIGIBILITY

 

 

  • PGTAgency STRONGLY RECOMMENDS PURCHASING TRAVEL INSURANCE.

  • Bookings made WITHOUT TRAVEL INSURANCE MAY NOT BE REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

  • Refunds, credits, or reimbursements for uninsured travelers will be at the discretion of the vendor and NOT PGTAgency.

  • Even when a vendor issues a partial refund or credit, deposits made to PGTAgency remain non-refundable.

  • It is the traveler’s responsibility to understand the terms of their travel insurance policy.

 

4. CHANGES, POSTPONEMENTS & CANCELLATIONS BY PGTAGENCY OR SUPPLIERS

 

PGTAgency and its vendors reserve the right to make changes due to supplier adjustments, weather, transportation delays, low enrollment, pandemics, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control.

In the event of cancellation by PGTAgency or its suppliers:

 

  • Only refundable portions of the trip will be returned.

  • All non-refundable amounts, including deposits, will be retained.

  • Refunds may take 4–6 weeks depending on vendor processing times.

 

If a trip is postponed, your booking and payments will be applied to the new date, and standard cancellation terms still apply.

5. CHANGES & FEES

 

 

  • ANY CHANGES MADE AFTER INITIAL BOOKING WILL INCUR A $50 CHANGE FEE (SUBJECT TO CHANGE).

  • NO CHANGES ARE PERMITTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF DEPARTURE.

 

6. GROUP FLIGHTS

 

  • When booking with the group flight option, airline confirmation codes will NOT be issued until ALL group participants have paid in full.

  • If you wish to upgrade to business class or select custom seating, you are encouraged to book flights separately.

  • IF YOU MISS YOUR FLIGHT, YOUR GROUP RATE WILL NO LONGER BE VALID, and rebooking will be subject to published fares and any applicable airline fees.

 

7. PRICING, PAYMENT PLANS & LATE PAYMENTS

 

 

  • Prices are quoted in USD and may change until the required deposit is received.

  • Late or missed payments may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund.

  • A late fee may apply; reinstatement is subject to availability and supplier approval.

  • If you are on a payment plan, you are still responsible for the full balance even if you choose not to travel.

 

8. PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION & DISPUTE WAIVER

 

 

By submitting payment, you authorize PGTAgency to charge your designated payment method for amounts related to your reservation. You agree that:

 

  • You are the authorized user of the payment method.

  • You will not dispute any charge that aligns with these terms and your invoice.

  • Attempted chargebacks for non-refundable amounts will be contested and may result in collections or legal action.

Payments may appear under TJ/Fonte Thomas, TJMAXX, PGTAgency, or Platinum Getaways Travel Agency on your statement.

 

9. THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS & RESPONSIBILITY DISCLAIMER

 

 

  • PGTAgency acts as a booking agent and coordinates travel services with independent third-party suppliers (resorts, cruise lines, airlines, transportation companies, etc.).

  • These suppliers are solely responsible for their performance and services.

  • PGTAgency is not liable for errors, cancellations, schedule changes, or dissatisfaction caused by suppliers.

 

10. DECLINING TRAVEL INSURANCE WAIVER

By placing a deposit on this trip without selecting travel insurance, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and accept full responsibility for any and all losses, including but not limited to:

  • Trip cancellations or interruptions

  • Medical emergencies

  • Missed flights

  • Lost baggage

  • Supplier insolvency

  • Natural disasters


A signed Travel Insurance Waiver may be required before your booking is processed.

 

11. CLIENT CONDUCT & BOOKING ACCURACY

 

  • Travelers must provide accurate names, dates of birth, passport details, and required documentation. Errors may result in cancellation or name-change fees.

  • Disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior toward PGTAgency staff, suppliers, or fellow travelers may result in removal from the trip without refund.

 

12. FINAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By making any payment toward your trip, you confirm that you:

 

  • Have read, understood, and agree to all terms in this document.

  • Release PGTAgency from liability for events beyond our control, including vendor actions, natural disasters, and acts of God.

  • Understand that these terms are binding and override any verbal or written communications unless confirmed in writing by PGTAgency.

By becoming our customer, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, and any updates thereto. 

 

Responsibility

Before reserving a trip, it is your responsibility to read Trip Itinerary, Pricing, Package Includes and Excludes, Terms and Conditions, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Special Note, etc. Herein, you state that you have already read and completely understood the content and will waive any right you have to dispute against any part of it after the purchase is made by you.
Once you complete your reservation, it is your responsibility to keep all your contact information updated.

 

Trip Changes and Cancellation

 

Trip providers try their best to keep all the trip arrangements same as planned, however, sometimes to ensure safe trips, the trip providers have the right to make changes including postponing, altering and canceling trips. This update can be due to transportation, weather, riot and all other reasons under rare or special circumstances. Trip providers also have the right to cancel the trip before departure, and refund your payment if the number of participants is inadequate to start a group trip.  If the trip is cancelled by the trip provider a full refund minus any non-refundable deposits.  If you are unable to attend and the trip is non-refundable please note a refund WILL NOT be provided.

 

Travel Insurance and Non-Refundable Deposit

 Travel Protection:
We highly recommend that all clients purchase travel protection to safeguard their trip against unforeseen events such as cancellations, delays, or emergencies. Travel protection can help cover non-refundable expenses and provide peace of mind throughout your journey.
 

Non-Refundable Deposit:
In the event that travel protection is not purchased, please note that your deposit will be non-refundable. By choosing to forgo travel protection, you acknowledge and accept the risk of losing your deposit should any unforeseen circumstances arise that prevent you from traveling.

By securing your booking with us, you agree to these terms and conditions regarding travel protection and the non-refundable nature of your deposit if travel protection is not selected.

 

Pricing, Amendment, Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

Please note that all prices are in the United States Dollars. Prices can vary due to availability. All prices need confirmation. The Cancellation and Refund Policy is considered a part of this agreement, and you also agree that you read and agreed to all its details before booking online.

 

Payment Authorization


I agree and authorize the credit card or bank account indicated on this invoice and/ or booking page for the noted amount on today's date.  This payment is for the services described on the invoice and/or booking page.  I understand that returns, refunds, and cancellations are at the discretions of the trip operator.  I certify that I am an authorized user of this credit card and that I will not dispute the payment with my credit card or debit card company, so long as the transaction corresponds to the terms indicated on this invoice/booking page including the known cancellation policy.  I agree that I have read the terms and conditions and all of the cancellation policies and will not dispute any charges if I cancel the trip knowing it’s non-refundable.
