Sightseeing, swimming and soaking up the island flavor — it's all yours for the taking on a Carnival cruise to Nassau, Bahamas. Boasting balmy breezes and jumping to a bouncy calypso beat, Nassau promises sizzling fun in the sun. The historic and cultural heart of The Bahamas is one of the world’s most popular cruise destinations — one million travelers board cruises to Nassau every year. Carnival guests come for fine beaches, shopping, water sports, and fun-filled attractions at the Atlantis Resort, connected to Nassau by a bridge to Paradise Island. Throw in a chance to swim with dolphins, or do a little slipping and sliding at a water park, and it's clear what makes Nassau a top spot for cruisers of all ages.

April 4, 2027 Perfect Day at CocoCay, Bahamas
7AM - 5PM
A perfect day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island, starts with that first salty breeze and the feeling that there’s absolutely nowhere else you need to be. You might float in the crystal-clear waters of Chill Island, sip a frozen drink with your toes in the sand, or brave the tallest waterslide in North America at Thrill Waterpark. Lunch is easy and delicious—think fresh tacos, island bites, and something cold to drink—before settling into a hammock or poolside lounger for a little nothing-time. As the sun starts to dip, there’s one last swim, one last drink, and that happy, sun-kissed glow that says: this is what vacation is supposed to feel like.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect on this cruise?
This special group cruise is designed for needlepoint lovers who want to unwind, soak up the sunshine, and connect with fellow stitchers. As we sail to Nassau and Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay, you’ll enjoy ocean breezes, beautiful ports, and plenty of time to relax at your own pace. Onboard, join casual daily stitch meetups, gather for an optional “get to know you” group dinner, and enjoy the simple joy of stitching together at sea. Every stitcher will also receive a mini, cruise-themed kitted canvas as a keepsake of our time together. This cruise is all about creativity, connection, and stitching bliss—sunshine included.

What is included in my cruise fare?
Your cruise fare includes your stateroom, most onboard dining, entertainment, ship amenities, and visits to Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay. Spring Stitchers at Sea guests will also enjoy casual stitch meetups, an optional group dinner, and one mini, cruise-themed kitted canvas per stitcher. Extras such as excursions, drink packages, specialty dining, gratuities, travel insurance, and transportation to/from the cruise port are not included.

How many people can be in a cabin?
Cabins for the Spring Stitchers at Sea cruise are strictly double occupancy (two guests per cabin). If you are interested in a cabin with more than two guests, please contact Gayle directly via email to discuss availability and options on the ship.

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Maybe. While families are welcome onboard, our group does not provide babysitting or childcare during group activities. Parents or guardians are solely responsible for their minor(s) at all times during the cruise. Please note that Spring Stitchers at Sea group activities—including stitch meetups and group dinners—are reserved for guests ages 18 and over.If you are interested in booking a cabin with two adults and one or more children, please contact Gayle directly. These arrangements must be booked outside of the group and are subject to ship availability.

Can I register by myself and ask for a roommate?
At this time, we do not have the capacity to manage or match roommate requests. All reservations must be made for guests who already have a confirmed cabinmate. If you are hoping to attend and don't yet have someone to share a cabin with, consider inviting a stitching friend or fellow needlepoint enthusiast to join you - cruising is always more fun with a stitching buddy!

Can we pay separately for our cabin?
Yes. Cabin mates may pay separately. If you are paying separately, each guest should complete their own registration and select one traveler during booking. Be sure to list your cabin mate’s full name on the registration form so the reservations can be properly linked. If both guests prefer to pay together, one person may complete the registration and select two travelers.

Do all guests need to be stitchers?
No! Not all guests in a cabin need to be stitchers. During checkout, you’ll indicate whether your cabin mate is a stitcher and plans to participate in group activities. Some guests may choose to bring a friend, partner, or significant other who prefers to enjoy the cruise their own way—and that’s perfectly fine. The Spring Stitchers at Sea cruise is designed to be welcoming and flexible for everyone onboard.

How do I book excursions and drink packages?
Excursions and drink packages are booked individually by each cruiser after your cruise reservation is confirmed, using the Royal Caribbean app or website. Detailed instructions will be provided so you know exactly how to book. Please note that the cruise line often does not release excursion options until about 12 months before departure. Excursions and drink packages are an additional cost and are paid directly by each cruiser at the time of booking.

Why should I consider prepaid gratuities and travel insurance?
Gratuities will be added to your onboard account if they are not prepaid, so selecting prepaid gratuities simply allows you to take care of them in advance and enjoy a smoother onboard experience. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment in case of unexpected events such as illness, travel delays, or the need to cancel your trip. These optional extras help provide peace of mind before and during your cruise. Passengers traveling together in a cabin must each have the same level of travel insurance. Royal Caribbean does not allow one passenger to have insurance and the other to not have insurance. Please be sure to discuss this with your cabinmate before booking.

What if I can no longer attend the cruise and I need to cancel?
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to the cruise line’s cancellation policy.  Deposits are non-refundable. The applicable cancellation policy can be found here
