  • It is your responsibility to review the invoice upon receipt to ensure 100% accuracy. Please check thoroughly for any discrepancies or errors. Bohemia Wedding Travel is NOT responsible for errors, or any fees associated with necessary changes after 24 hours of receipt.

  • May 24th, 2025 is the deadline to pay the $100 deposit to reserve your room at Secrets Akumal
  • June 1st, 2025 is the due date of 40% of your room total.
  • August 1st, 2025 is the due date for your remaining room balance.
 

Reminders:

  • To be included in Colleen and Tyler’s wedding events, please only book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). Colleen and Tyler have secured group rates with a deposit already paid on each room for you. If you book outside of this group the resort will charge a wedding pass fee per person per wedding event to your room.

  • The wedding is on October 17th, 2025. Please schedule your trip before and after that date.
 
 

Cancellation policy:

  • If you cancel your reservation before June 1st, 2025 you are only responsible for the non-refundable $100 per room booking fee already paid as the deposit when you reserved your room. However, you can reduce the number of nights in your reservation up to this date without a fee (maintaining the 3 night minimum).

  • Between June 1st, 2025 and July 1st, 2025 up to 30% of the existing room nights may be cancelled without penalty. A penalty of 20% will apply to the remainder of the cancelled room nights.

  • Between July 1st, 2025 and August 1st, 2025 up to 20% of the existing room nights may be cancelled without penalty. A penalty of 40% will apply to the remainder of the cancelled room nights.

  • Between August 1st, 2025 and August 15th, 2025 up to 5% of the existing room nights may be cancelled without penalty. A penalty of 100% will apply to the remainder of the cancelled room nights.

  • If you cancel your reservation, no-show or reduce the number of nights or travelers in your reservation after August 15th, 2025, you are responsible for 100% of your room total.

  • If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on insurance providers terms.

    • Secrets Akumal will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.

For Colleen and Tyler's wedding, we have secured direct, non-stop transfers with Mayaland at $152 per person, round trip. We highly! recommend that you select to include ground transportation when placing your room deposit so that you won’t forget about the option later and possibly become stranded at the airport with only expensive options. Ride share services like Uber are not viable in the Riviera Maya
