Begin your journey with a 3-night plein air retreat just outside the medieval walls of Asolo, surrounded by the rolling hills and valleys of the Veneto region, before we embark on our watercolor cruise. Set in the enchanting hilltop town of Asolo, known as the “city of a hundred horizons,” this pre-cruise experience is designed to let you relax, paint, and immerse yourself in Italian culture.

Located just an hour outside Venice, our home will be the elegant Hotel Villa Cipriani, where you’ll enjoy plein air workshops led by Al Kline, daily breakfast, a welcome dinner, and group transfers from the airport to Asolo and then to the Venice port for embarkation.
