Please Note: This trip is quoted in British Pound Sterling, yet my invoicing system does not automatically allow currency conversions. So, I will provide you with a deposit invoice in USD currency using that particular day's conversion rate. I tried to keep the per-person cost as low as possible for our 15-day tour; however, as you will find, the pound is about 30% stronger than the dollar.

What's included in this trip:

  • WO60 Tour Escort for the entire trip.
  • Fifteen nights of accommodation with bed and breakfast (plus two dinners) in our hand-picked selection of three and four-star small hotels and guest houses.
  • All excursions/experiences as outlined in the daily itinerary.
  • Standard-class train travel on the West Highland Line between Glasgow, Oban, and Fort William, the North Highland Line between Kyle of Lochalsh and Inverness, return travel on the Far North Line between Inverness and Thurso, and between Inverness, Pitlochry, and Edinburgh.
  • This is a first-class single journey on the Jacobite Express steam train from Fort William to Mallaig. If the Jacobite Express is unavailable, the Scotrail service train will make this journey.
  • Transfers to and from the train at all locations except Glasgow, Edinburgh, Oban, and Inverness. A transfer from Glasgow Airport to our tour hotel is included.
  • Ferry travel to Skye and Orkney.
  • Premium Seats for the 06:15 pm Edinburgh Royal Tattoo Extravaganza on August 02, 2025.

**Visas and Entry Requirements

The UK requires a valid passport for the whole of your stay. (We recommend a minimum of six months' validity from your departure date.) Contact your local embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date visa requirements.

It is your responsibility to have the correct travel documentation. Visa requirements for your trip will vary depending on where you are from and where you are going. We keep the following information up to date as far as possible, but rules do change, sometimes without warning. While we provide the following information in good faith, it is vital that you check the information yourself and understand that you are fully responsible for your visa requirements.

At this time, US/Canadian valid “Passport book” holders do not require a Visa.

Cancellation policy:

If you need to cancel, we will try our best to find a replacement for you. Please note that all name changes will be subject to payment of an administration fee of £50 per person per change. Additional fees may be required for any changes made, as well as any costs and charges incurred by us and/or incurred or imposed by any of our suppliers in making this change.

 

We strongly recommend that you purchase your travel insurance policy immediately. You can add other travel components by calling your travel insurance carrier to increase your coverage.
