These Terms and Conditions including all brochures, documents, correspondence and the terms and conditions of our suppliers form the basis of the contract with you. Before making a booking with us you must ensure that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions (and ask any questions you may have). Please be aware that these terms and conditions contain waivers of liability as well as waiver of class action and venue selection and notice clauses. By asking us to confirm your booking you are accepting all the Terms and Conditions laid out below and acknowledging that you have read the Terms of this Contract and agree with it. If you are making a booking as a group, the leader of the group is responsible for sharing these Terms and Conditions with all members of the group and is financially responsible for the booking. We will not be liable for a group leader’s failure to share these Terms and Conditions with all travelers in their group.
Travel Advisory
It is the Traveler’s responsibility to have all the necessary documents, tests, and vaccinations completed prior to departure. Improper required travel documentation is not covered by any Trip Protection Plans.
Since destination entry requirements vary widely and change frequently, at least 5 business days prior to departure, we recommend that all Travelers research specifics for your destination. In addition to international COVID-19 travel protocols, COVID-19 travel restrictions and protocols may be in place upon return to the United States. Please continue to monitor all state or local health advisories from your city or state of origin prior to travel.

On-site service adjustments may include, but are not limited to, food services (room service, buffets), check-in & check-out time, daily linen change, turndown service, on-site amenities (pool, spa, gym), etc.
The Travel Mechanic wants you to have a safe and truly wonderful vacation, so we recommend that you fully educate yourself on the destination and hotel specific changes that have been made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and plan accordingly before you depart on your vacation. COVID testing may be required to come back into the US which may be the travelers responsibility to cover those costs.

Travel Protection
We strongly recommend the purchase of this product to protect your investment. Cancellation penalties may apply in the event of cancellation. The Plan will reimburse 100% of these penalties if you cancel for a reason covered by the plan. Please contact us for further information.
Names
Please verify the exact spelling of each passenger’s name as it appears on their Government issued Identification and Passport with date of birth. Name corrections may result in loss of specific flight inventory and increased pricing.
Passports
A passport is required when traveling outside of the United States. If any passenger carries anything other than a U.S. Passport, please contact the Consulate of the country(s) you are visiting to verify document requirements. If you do not have appropriate documentation, you will be denied entry and any applicable fees are not covered by Travel Protection. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return trip for international travel. Some countries require visas even with a U.S. passport.
TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN:
Children under 18 years of age not traveling with both parents or legal guardian(s) may need to present a notarized letter from the absent parent/guardiangranting permission to travel outside the United States and provide emergency medical care if necessary. CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS:
Any changes made to your existing room reservation must be in writing and are subject to the current rates and availability. Any changes after October 1at are subject to the rate at time of change.
Cancellations:
All deposits are non-refundable. In addition, the hotel's cancellation policy is October 1st, 2022.
AIRLINE SCHEDULE CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS:
Airlines schedules can and do change and this is beyond The Travel Mechanic’s control. If we booked your air and this occurs, we will do our best to assist you with finding the best possible alternate option(s). If the flight time change is minor (2 hours or less) the airline will automatically make the change (airline policies/rules entitle them to legally do so). The Travel Mechanic will notify you of any major changes. Please Note: there may beadditional costs to re-book a new flight should the airline cancel or make a major change to your original flight itinerary. The Travel Mechanic is NOT responsible for any additional costs or fees imposed by the airlines.
RE-CONFIRM YOUR FLIGHTS:
It is the responsibility of the passenger to check in online to check for last minute airline flight time changes within 24 hours of departure. The Travel Mechanic is not responsible for changes that may occur within 24 hours of original flight departure time.
RESORT CHECK IN:
Check-in time at most resorts is 3:00pm (local time). If you arrive prior to 3:00pm your room may not be ready. The resort will store your luggage in a secure location on property so you may start enjoying your resort without delay.
DRESS CODE:
Most resorts will specify a dress code for their dining experiences. Please be advised that some resort restaurants may require long pants, collared shirt, & Closed-toe shoes for the men. Please pack accordingly.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
Travel documents will be sent to you no later than ten (10) days prior to departure date. Please read through these documents immediately and report any misprints, misspellings, incorrect dates etc.
