Punta Cana Excursions, Nightlife, and Transportation

1. General Policy

By booking any transportation, excursion, SUV service, club section, or add-on through Destination Cocoa, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Destination Cocoa operates as a third-party booking service and does not own or operate the excursions, clubs, transportation companies, or activity providers.


2. Communication

All official communication occurs exclusively in WhatsApp. Messages sent through Instagram, TikTok, email, or any other platform are not recognized and may result in missed updates. Destination Cocoa is not responsible for missed pickups or missed information if you did not monitor WhatsApp.


3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

A. 24-Hour Refund Window After Booking: You may cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund, unless the excursion is scheduled within the next 24 hours. If your excursion takes place within 24 hours of booking, the payment becomes immediately non-refundable and the 24-hour grace period does not apply.

B. Excursions Only — Non-Refundable 24 Hours Before Pickup: All excursions become 100% non-refundable beginning 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

C. Bookings Made Within 24 Hours of an Excursion: If you book an excursion scheduled within the next 24 hours, all payments are immediately non-refundable.

D. Cancellations Outside the Non-Refundable Window (Excursions Only): If your excursion is more than 24 hours away and you are outside the 24-hour post-booking refund period, you may:

  1. Receive a refund minus a 20% cancellation fee, OR

  2. Switch to another excursion. If the new excursion costs more, you pay the difference; if it costs less, you receive the difference back.

E. Transportation Refund Rules: For standard airport transfers, if the driver does not arrive within 30 minutes of the scheduled return pickup time, you will be refunded for the return leg only. Arrival transportation already used is not refundable.

SUVs with decorations follow separate rules outlined in Section 9.


4. Missed Services

There are no refunds for:

  • Missing your pickup

  • Arriving late

  • Oversleeping

  • Providing incorrect hotel information

  • Not attending the excursion

  • Disliking the excursion or feeling it was not what you expected

All missed services are non-refundable.


5. Weather, Delays & Safety

Excursions may be modified, delayed, or canceled by the provider due to weather, sea conditions, safety concerns, government restrictions, or operational issues. If the provider cancels, options may include rescheduling, an alternate excursion, or a vendor-issued refund.


6. Third-Party Provider Disclaimer

Destination Cocoa acts as a booking facilitator and is not liable for injuries, lost items, delays, equipment failure, staff behavior, or any risks associated with excursions, transportation, or activities.


7. Club Sections & Bottle Service Rules

Club sections require mandatory bottle service purchased directly from the club. Failure to purchase bottle service results in removal from the section with no refund. All club rules and pricing are determined by the club.


8. Airport Transportation Policies

A. Pickup Times: Airport pickup times may vary due to flight delays, customs lines, airport congestion, and traffic.

B. Return (Checkout) Transfers: If the return driver does not arrive within 30 minutes of the scheduled pickup time, you will be refunded for that leg only.


9. SUV With Decorations & Champagne

A 20% non-refundable fee is always retained due to advance purchases of decorations and champagne. Maximum capacity is 5 passengers. If luggage does not fit, an additional one-way transfer must be purchased for luggage.


10. Excursion Transportation

Transportation is included only for resort guests. Guests staying in Airbnbs, villas, apartments, or local homes must book separate transportation.


11. Fraud Prevention & Identity Verification

The guest must submit an ID matching the card used. If a new card or new person pays for any service, a new intake form and ID must be submitted. Destination Cocoa may cancel any booking that fails verification; refund rules still apply.


12. Behavior & Code of Conduct

Providers may refuse service for aggressive behavior, intoxication, threats, or refusal to follow safety rules. No refunds will be issued.


13. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for monitoring WhatsApp, providing accurate hotel information, being ready on time, reading instructions, and following all rules. Failure to comply results in no refund.


14. Liability Release

By booking, guests accept all risks associated with excursions and transportation, including injuries, illness, accidents, slips, falls, drowning, lost items, equipment malfunction, wildlife encounters, alcohol consumption, and water activities.


15. Currency & Fees

All charges are processed in USD. Your bank may apply foreign transaction fees or currency conversion fees, which are not controlled by Destination Cocoa and are non-refundable.


16. Force Majeure

Destination Cocoa is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by weather, road closures, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or events beyond our control.


17. Media Release

Photos or videos taken during excursions may be used for marketing. Guests may request exclusion by notifying Destination Cocoa through WhatsApp prior to the excursion.


18. Group Leader Responsibility

The person booking is responsible for distributing information to their group and ensuring all participants understand these terms.


19. Disputes & Chargebacks

All disputes must be handled directly with Destination Cocoa through WhatsApp. Filing a chargeback after receiving services, missing your pickup, or violating these terms is considered fraudulent.

Guests authorize Destination Cocoa to provide banks with all documentation, including IDs, intake forms, WhatsApp communication, vendor logs, and time-stamped records. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in removal from all Destination Cocoa services and pursuit of recovery for fees and damages.

No chargeback overrides these Terms & Conditions.

  1. The person paying for this booking must be the person completing this form OR must be fully aware that their card is being used.

  2. If the cardholder is a different person, you are required to list their full legal name below and confirm that you have received their permission to use their card.

  3. The person listed as the cardholder understands and agrees to all Terms & Conditions and will be responsible for any disputes filed with their bank.

  4. Any disputes filed by a cardholder whose name is listed on this form will be treated as an authorized transaction under the Terms & Conditions agreed to here.

  5. Submitting this form confirms that all information is accurate and that you have the cardholder’s full consent to use their payment method.


20. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all Terms & Conditions listed above.
