Research Fee Agreement
To perform the professional services required to design and arrange your travels, a minimum $30.00 research per person non-refundable fee is required, depending on group size (please see below).
Vacation planning involves a great deal of time. Our work is based on years of personal experience and professional expertise. We research cruises, hotels, tours, and activities to meet your specific needs, contact suppliers, coordinate transportation, draft itineraries, and more. We provide itineraries, vacation plans, and tailored travel arrangements that give travelers peace of mind and save them time. Once DLC Getaways has constructed your itinerary, you are free to share it on the Internet or wherever you would like.
If you choose not to book through us for any reason (decided not to go, booked elsewhere, was shopping, etc.), then the fee will be retained by us as payment for services rendered. The research fee is valid for 30 days (includes two destination changes). Otherwise, we will consider the request cancelled. If you reconvene anytime thereafter, a new research fee will be due.
RESEARCH FEE BREAKDOWN
Individual Fee - $30.00 Non-refundable Fee
Up to 4 Travellers - $110.00 Non-refundable Fee
Groups of 5 to 7 Travellers - $200.00 Non-refundable Fee
Groups of 8 to 11 Travellers - $320.00 Non-refundable Fee
Groups of 12 to 15 Travellers - $450.00 Non-refundable Fee
Groups of more than 16 Travellers - Non-refundable Fee varies
Please note: Research fees are non-refundable and are not applied toward your trip balance. Once the research fee has been received and flight arrangements have been secured, DLC Getaways will:

Prepare and provide detailed travel proposals including all accommodations, flight itinerary information, and any included tours or transfers.

Communicate promptly regarding any travel updates or changes via email or text, ensuring you are informed every step of the way.

Be available to answer questions and make necessary adjustments to ensure your itinerary meets your needs and preferences.
By signing the research fee form, you are hereby agreeing to this Agreement and its terms listed herein:
- The authorization & disclosure is not considered complete until you execute this form.
- We will not commence any planning until the research has been paid, and we will not continue any planning if research fees are due.
- Your quotes/proposals/itineraries cannot be released until this form is executed and returned.
- I agree with the above terms and conditions and engage DLC Getaways to research my vacation plans.
- I agree that the research fee is nonrefundable.
- Furthermore, I understand a new research fee will be charged should I initiate any new requests after 30 days.
