Ty’s Travel Adventures

 

1. Professional Planning Fee

 

Ty’s Travel Adventures charges a non-refundable, non-transferable Professional Planning Fee of $150 for all new trip requests.

This fee covers consultation, research, itinerary design, and proposal preparation.

No work will begin until this fee is paid in full via TravelJoy.

 

 

2. Consultation & Communication

 

Once your consultation is scheduled, you’ll receive:

 

  • A confirmation email and text with the call details.
  • A post-call recap outlining next steps and your planning fee payment link.

 

After your planning fee is paid, Ty’s Travel Adventures will begin curating travel options based on your preferences and budget.

 

 

3. Payments, Fees, Changes & Cancellations

 

Ty’s Travel Adventures charges a non-refundable, non-transferable Professional Planning Fee for services rendered.

 

All deposits and trip payments are subject to the supplier’s individual terms and conditions (for example: cruise lines, airlines, or resort partners). Some deposits may be non-refundable and/or non-transferable depending on the supplier.

 

In addition to any supplier penalties, Ty’s Travel Adventures charges:

 

  • A $100 per person non-refundable cancellation fee if you cancel after booking.
  • A $50 modification fee for any post-deposit changes (such as name changes, date changes, or resort adjustments).

 

All change and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@tystraveladventures.com before any action is taken.

 

 

4. Travel Protection (Highly Recommended)

 

Travel insurance is strongly encouraged to protect your investment.

Clients who decline coverage must sign a Travel Protection Waiver acknowledging that Ty’s Travel Adventures is not responsible for any losses, delays, or penalties resulting from declined coverage.

 

If a trip has already been booked with travel protection and is later canceled, the cost of the travel protection policy is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another trip.

 

 

5. Client Responsibilities

 

It is the responsibility of each traveler to:

 

  • Review all booking details for accuracy before submitting payment.
  • Maintain valid passports, visas, and other required documents.
  • Notify Ty’s Travel Adventures of any discrepancies immediately.

 

Ty’s Travel Adventures is not liable for denied boarding, missed flights, or travel disruptions due to documentation issues or traveler error.

 

 

6. Payment Methods

 

All payments are processed securely through TravelJoy.

Ty’s Travel Adventures does not store client credit card information and will never request payment through unsecured platforms such as CashApp, Venmo, or Zelle.

 

 

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

 

By authorizing payment to Ty’s Travel Adventures or a travel supplier, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting resolution directly with Ty’s Travel Adventures may result in termination of services and forfeiture of any active bookings.

 

If a chargeback is filed after services have been rendered, Ty’s Travel Adventures reserves the right to pursue reimbursement for losses, including administrative fees and legal costs, where applicable.

 

 

8. Professional Conduct & Termination Policy

 

Ty’s Travel Adventures reserves the right to terminate the client relationship at any time if the client is:

 

  • Rude, disrespectful, or verbally abusive (including the use of profanity).
  • Consistently late with payments or fails to adhere to agreed payment schedules.
  • Unresponsive or fails to provide required information within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Acting in a manner that makes the working relationship unproductive or uncomfortable.

 

If Ty’s Travel Adventures terminates the agreement, the Professional Planning Fee remains non-refundable.

If the client terminates the relationship after work has begun, the same applies — all planning fees and any service time invested remain non-refundable.

 

Likewise, the client has the right to terminate their working relationship with Ty’s Travel Adventures if they feel the agency is not the right fit. However, the planning fee remains non-refundable, and any booked travel will remain subject to supplier cancellation policies.

 

If travel protection has already been purchased, that policy cost is also non-refundable.

 

 

9. Flight Policy

 

Ty’s Travel Adventures does not book basic economy, budget, or ultra-low-cost carriers such as Spirit Airlines or Frontier Airlines.

 

If clients wish to save money by booking low-cost or basic flights, they may do so independently.

Ty’s Travel Adventures only books standard or higher-class flight options that align with a quality travel experience.

 

This policy ensures smooth check-ins, baggage allowances, seat assignments, and overall comfort for our travelers.

 

 

10. Limitation of Liability & Agreement to Terms

 

Ty’s Travel Adventures acts solely as an intermediary between clients and travel suppliers.

The agency is not responsible for the acts, errors, or omissions of suppliers, including cancellations, schedule changes, or service failures.

 

Clients agree to hold Ty’s Travel Adventures harmless from liability related to supplier actions, natural disasters, pandemics, weather events, or travel delays beyond the agency’s control.

 

By submitting payment, signing your proposal, or authorizing Ty’s Travel Adventures to make bookings on your behalf, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
