Gurvy Travel Terms and Conditions – Couples Trip

By booking a tour with us, paying a deposit, or signing this agreement, you accept all of the terms in this agreement on your own behalf and on behalf of all persons listed on the booking, including but not limited to any Minors for whom you are signing this agreement (referred to individually as "Traveler" or "Travelers"), and direct us to perform services for each and every Traveler.

Making reservations for this package signifies your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.

Booking Confirmation

Reservations are confirmed only after receipt of the initial deposit and Gurvy Travel has sent a confirmation email. All payments to Gurvy Travel are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Gurvy Travel has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that do not allow us to obtain any refunds. These contracts permit us to lock in our low package prices and allow you to make monthly payments for your journey.

Travel Documents and Visas

Passengers are responsible for ensuring they have the proper travel documents. It is your responsibility to check with the respective consulate(s) or visa agency to determine whether visas or passports are required. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel, and some countries require a full blank “VISA” page in the passport for stamping purposes. Information provided on travel descriptions pertains to U.S. citizens only. Non-U.S. citizens must check with the consulate of the country(s) to be visited for current entry requirements.

Reservations must be made in your FULL NAME as it appears on your passport. Your name on the invoice MUST match your passport.

Third-Party Payment Processing

We use third-party payment processing companies to process credit card charges, allowing you to make payments with major credit cards.

Travel Protection

Missing a vacation is unfortunate, but losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Therefore, we highly recommend Travel Protection to provide coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, baggage loss or delay, medical expenses, and more. You may request a quote from Gurvy Travel within 3 days of applying your deposit or book your own travel insurance and provide proof of coverage.

Seat Assignments

Seat assignments are at the discretion of airlines. While we will do our best to get your preferred seating for domestic flights within the country, please note that seats for this group tour are only located in economy class.

Pricing and Payments

Prices are subject to change without notice. To lock in the current price, make your reservations and deposit promptly. Initial deposits and final payments are required, and we suggest creating a payment plan on your personal calendar. It is also your responsibility to ensure your roommate (if applicable) makes timely payments.

Name Changes and Late Payments

  • Name Changes: Name changes are allowed with a $300 fee before the final payment date and $650 after the final payment date, plus any applicable vendor fees.
  • Late Payments: A $650 per person late payment fee is applied after the final due date. Late payments are not accepted more than 14 days after the final payment due date, resulting in forfeiture of all funds and reservation cancellation.
  • Approval of Late Payment Requests: All late payment requests must be approved by management before the final payment deadline.

Booking Changes and Cancellations by Gurvy Travel

If Gurvy Travel must cancel the trip for any reason, you will receive a full refund of all payments made, excluding the cost of travel insurance or other non-refundable items.

Itinerary Changes

Gurvy Travel reserves the right to modify the itinerary if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, airline schedule changes, or force majeure events.

Force Majeure

Gurvy Travel is not liable for any delays, changes, or cancellations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, health emergencies, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Responsibility and Liability

Gurvy Travel acts solely as an agent for airlines, hotels, transportation companies, and other suppliers. We are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, or irregularity resulting from acts or omissions of these suppliers or third parties.

Health and Fitness

Travelers are responsible for assessing their physical ability to participate in the tour activities. Travelers with medical conditions, disabilities, or mobility issues should inform Gurvy Travel prior to booking.

Health Protocols

Travelers are responsible for complying with all health and safety requirements imposed by destination countries, airlines, or suppliers, including COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements.

Baggage Fees

Baggage fees charged by airlines are not included in the trip price and are the Traveler’s responsibility.

Behavior and Conduct

Gurvy Travel reserves the right to refuse service or remove any Traveler whose behavior is disruptive, illegal, or violates the rights of other Travelers or staff.

Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [your state], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
