Welcome to Getaway Like Gandi. I am excited to help you with your travel plans. The following terms & conditions describe what you can expect from me. The terms "I", "me", and "my" refer to Getaway Like Gandi and Rogandia (Gandi) Smith. The term "you" refers to the individual who signs this agreement.
I’m committed to providing you with exceptional service, which includes thorough research to find the best travel options. For cruises, we mainly book Carnival, but have access to all brands, including Disney. We also book amusement parks, vacation homes, flights, hotels, and all-inclusive resorts. Anything travel related, we can book it. We will provide 1-2 quote options. If additional quotes are requested beyond the initial two, an additional research fee will apply.
Research Fee:
While not all clients proceed with bookings, this fee ensures that my expertise and efforts are valued. My research fee is paid initially to receive a quote, and covers the comprehensive work that goes into finding the best travel options for you. This includes:
Thoroughly researching destinations, accommodations, and activities.
Providing tailored recommendations based on your preferences and needs.
Comparing multiple options to find the best deals and experiences.
Setting up a booking page where everyone can read about the trip and book. (Groups)
Agent Fee:
My agent fee, covers a wide range of services provided to ensure your trip is seamless and enjoyable. This includes:
Processing all payments, setting up flexible payment plans, and sending timely reminders for final payment deadlines.
Offering 24/7 concierge service for any travel-related needs.
Creating customized itineraries tailored to your preferences. Tailoring experiences to match your preferences, from excursions to dining recommendations.
Providing up-to-date information on travel requirements and options.
Organizing activities.
Assisting with passport and visa requirements.
Providing expert advice and flight check-in assistance.
Reserving airport transfers.
Advocating on your behalf with all suppliers.
Cost for Research and Agent Fees:
Agent Fee: Prices may vary. Included in the cost of your trip.
Note: All fees are non-refundable.
Travel Quote: I provide a complete quote with everything you want included; i.e. cruise, flight, hotel, excursions, all-inclusive resort, hotel, vacation home, airport transfers, travel protection, and more. Quote is provided after the research fee is paid. 1 - 2 options.
Referral Program: If you refer a friend, family member, coworker, etc. to us, I will gift you with a hotel voucher for up to 3 nights to a U.S. destination. (Limited to 1 per year).
Initial Deposit: Deposits start at $50-$300 per person depending on the package and supplier.
Payment Arrangement: If your departure date is 60 + days away, a payment arrangement can be set up once deposit is paid. All payments must be made on time, or you must communicate any needed changes in advance. Failure to make timely payments or communicate changes may result in cancellation of your booking.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made in writing via email or your TravelJoy link.
Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance is mandatory for all bookings through my agency and will be included in your quote. Our preferred supplier is Allianz.
Changes to Itinerary: Any modifications must be made in writing via email or through your TravelJoy link and are subject to availability. A $25 fee applies to minor changes, while more significant adjustments may incur a $50 fee. Additional supplier fees may apply.
Travel Documents: It is your responsibility to obtain and carry a valid passport (international travel) and/or any other necessary travel documents. I do assist with obtaining a passport.
Liability: I am not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property resulting from any act or omission by any airline, hotel, transportation company, or other provider of travel services.
Entire Agreement: This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
