Disney Planning Considerations & Preferences
General Daily Rhythms & Favorite Activities
These help me determine which additional opportunities around the greater Walt Disney World Resort might appeal to you and your travel party.
Dining Preferences
From cult classic snacks to lively dinner shows, dining at WDW is part of the entire vacation experience! Let's make sure you get the dining options that best match your family's personality.
GROUP TRIP: Let's think about planning a separate meal!
I plan many Disney trips for multi-household groups of family or friends who love traveling together - Disney is so much fun with a group! When planning for groups, I recommend the group separate for at least one dinner or lunch. This is particularly recommended for families with kids, as it allows them to take a moment to reconnect with more focused conversation and decompress with a smaller crowd. Also, planning date nights or parents' night outs are amazing when possible! Your group can discuss the best way to make this work - sometimes grandparents take the grandkids, sometimes adults divide and conquer by swapping date nights with one couple watching kids while the other goes out, sometimes its ladies' night out or guys' night out, etc. - whatever fits your group! Several great bars and restaurants make adulting at Disney fun!
Park Touring and Ride Preferences
Simply "showing up" to Walt Disney World is a thing of the past, and failing to plan will result in nothing getting accomplished. Many popular rides, attractions, and activities sell out or book quickly, and planning is necessary. Think about what is essential to your family on this trip.
