There are three ways to plan and book your vacation with Saltwater & Champagne Travel. Choose the option that best fits the level of service and support you prefer.

If you prefer to research and manage your own reservation, you can book through my affiliate links. You will work directly with the travel supplier and will be responsible for reviewing the terms, managing payments, making changes, and resolving any issues with the reservation.

For personalized research, planning, booking, and ongoing support, please complete my travel inquiry form. Your answers allow me to understand your travel needs and determine which planning and booking services apply.

Please submit only one inquiry form per room. If your vacation includes multiple rooms, starting destinations, or unrelated itineraries, additional retainers may apply.

Planning and Booking Fees

All planning and booking fees must be paid before research, quotes, reservations, or other planning services begin. These fees compensate Saltwater & Champagne Travel for the professional time and services involved in researching, planning, coordinating, and managing your trip. 

Planning and booking fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. They will not be credited or applied toward the cost of your vacation.

• Basic Research Retainer: $10 per room or starting destination - ONLY CHOOSE 1 TRAVELER
  Covers the initial review of your inquiry, preliminary research, and preparation of suitable travel options. An additional retainer may apply for each room or separate departure location requiring individual research. This will be credited toward your booking fee if one is required after inquiry review.
• Domestic Flight Booking: $25 per round-trip ticket
  Covers researching, comparing, booking, and documenting a round-trip flight itinerary within the United States.
• International Flight Booking: $50 per round-trip ticket
  Covers researching, comparing, booking, and documenting an international round-trip flight itinerary. Also includes a travel document audit.
• Domestic Premium Cabin Booking: Additional $50 per ticket
  Applies when researching and booking First Class, Business Class, or another premium cabin on a domestic itinerary. 
• International Premium Cabin Booking: Additional $100 per ticket
  Applies when researching and booking Business Class, First Class, or another premium cabin on an international itinerary. Also includes a travel document audit.
• Group Coordination: $50 per room - CHOOSE THE # of ROOMS as TRAVELER #
  Applies to reservations connected to a group trip. It covers coordinating each household’s room and flights, connecting the reservation to the larger group, tracking payments and deadlines, preparing travel documents, and providing planning support.

Proposal Terms

Applicable planning fees include a proposal containing up to three researched options and one requested revision. Proposals containing more than three options require an additional fee, which will be confirmed before the additional research begins.

The included revision must be requested in writing within seven days of receiving the proposal. The request should clearly explain what you would like changed so that the revised options can be researched accurately. Additional revisions or requests submitted after the seven-day period may require a new planning fee.

To keep research and availability current, clients must respond to proposals and planning questions within seven days. Failure to respond within seven days will result in the inquiry being closed and the planning fee forfeited. Reopening the inquiry or beginning new research will require a new inquiry form and applicable planning fee.

Completing an inquiry form does not create a reservation or guarantee pricing or availability. Rates and availability may change until the reservation has been confirmed with the required payment.
