Hotel stay from Sep 14, 2026- Sep 19, 2026. Travel dates for flights will either be September 12th or September 13th depending on the flights that you choose.
Before you submit your $100 deposit per person (which is non-refundable due to space being reserved,) I ask that you seriously consider a few important things to make sure this trip will work for you.

Will I be able to make the monthly payments on time and will I have available funds to spend while in Bali?

✈️ Travel & Flight Considerations
Flights may take 20+ hours and may involve multiple connections.
Be prepared for long travel days. Pack your patience, as this is a long journey!
🚶 Walking & Mobility
This trip includes a lot of walking, so comfortable shoes are a must.
Some areas have uneven ground, stairs, and long walking distances.
Excursions often require walking over varied terrain that may not be wheelchair accessible.
If you have mobility issues, difficulty walking long distances, or use mobility aids, please contact us so we can discuss possible accommodations before booking.
Consider carefully if this trip is right for you, as mobility challenges could limit full participation in some activities.

Excursions are reached by bus rides, which can take time.
The longest ride was 2 hours each way.
🚻 Restroom Conditions
Restrooms may be different from what you’re used to (example: a hole in the ground instead of a toilet in rural areas, not at hotels.)
Toilet paper and other supplies are not provided—bring your own tissues and wipes.
There may be strong smells, so please prepare mentally and respectfully.
🍲 Food & Culture
Food is prepared differently than in the U.S. so expect new flavors and styles.
It’s okay if you don’t like something, but we want to avoid sending food back or asking for it to be made the way you’re used to.
Please respect the culture and avoid being loud, rude, or judgmental about toilets, smells, food, or anything else that may be different in their culture than from ours. We are guests in their home country, and respect is essential.

You DO NEED a passport for this trip. If you have a passport that is not from the US, or if you are not a US citizen, please let me know before paying the deposit, as things may be different for you. Your passport must have at least 6 months of validity after our arrival date.
Upon arrival, we have to get a Bali tourist visa (which is called Visa on Arrival) which is USD $35.00 and is valid for 30 days. It's available at the airports, or you can purchase it online before you go.
There is an approximate $10 USD entry fee collected directly at the airport.
There is also a new tourism tax which is also approximately $10 USD.
No mandatory vaccinations are required for U.S. travelers. However, it’s recommended to be up-to-date on routine vaccines such as Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, and Tetanus. In some cases, travelers visiting rural areas may consider vaccination for Japanese Encephalitis.
We will stay in two 5-star hotels in 2 different cities.
Each traveler is responsible for their flight arrangements as Traces of Sunlight does not book or manage the flight details, but we will help coordinate travel and give travel suggestions.

Sep 14th-Sep 19th is the time we will be in Bali. Depending on the flight that you choose, you may need to add 1-2 days before and 1-2 days after to allow for travel time depending on the flight schedules.
This is a long flight and travel time. Most flight times are more than 24 hours and may have different layover options.

Payment Structure: Clients can opt for a monthly payment plan to manage the cost of their travel arrangements. The total trip cost will be divided into equal monthly payments.
Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. The deposit is $100. Your deposit will be applied toward your total trip cost.
Payment Schedule: Monthly payments will begin on the month after your deposit is made and continue until the trip balance is paid in full. The final payment is due July 1, 2026.
Payment Methods: Payments can be made via credit/debit card and are paid directly to the supplier. Clients are responsible for ensuring timely payments.
Late Payments: Continuous late payments may result in the cancellation of the reservation.
Cancellation Policy: Clients can cancel their trip under the standard cancellation policy listed below.
Changes to the Plan: Clients may adjust their payment plan upon request, subject to approval. Changes may affect the total trip cost and payment schedule.
Confirmation of Payments: Clients will receive confirmation of each payment received and their remaining balance.
