Travel Dates: November 12 to 19, 2027
The trip begins in Bangkok and ends in Phuket. International airfare is purchased separately. Please check with 5 Star Travel before booking flights so your arrival and departure times work with the group transfers.
Trip Cost
$2,995 per person sharing a room with one other traveler. $3,735 per person for a private room. Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include international airfare. A shared-room reservation requires two paying travelers; if a roommate is not confirmed, the single-room rate may apply.
Please contact me before requesting a room for more than two travelers or for a child.
A $316 non-refundable deposit per room is due November 13, 2026, and will be applied toward your trip balance. For two travelers sharing a room, the deposit may be split equally at $158 per person. Final payment is due July 23, 2027.
U.S. passport holders should check that their passports are undamaged and valid for at least six months beyond arrival in Thailand. Goway asks travelers on this group to have six months of validity beyond the scheduled return date, so please use that longer window when checking your passport. As of September 2026, most U.S. citizens do not need a tourist visa for this eight-day visit. Entry rules can change before November 2027, and travelers using passports issued by other countries must check their own requirements, including transit-country rules. Use the official U.S. State Department Thailand page for current guidance: https://travel.state.gov/en/international-travel/travel-advisories/thailand.html
Thailand currently requires non-Thai travelers entering the country to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card online before arrival. This is separate from any visa requirement. Follow the timing and instructions on Thailand’s official immigration site as your trip approaches: Thailand Digital Arrival Card
Please contact 5 Star Travel before booking anyone under 18 so we can confirm eligibility, room arrangements and pricing. Each child needs an appropriate passport. If a child travels with one parent, without a parent or with another adult, bring proof of your relationship to the child and check whether a notarized consent letter or custody documents are needed. The U.S. State Department strongly recommends a notarized consent letter when only one parent travels with a child. Thailand guidance: Travel.State.Gov
Some medications permitted in the United States may be restricted in Thailand. Bring prescription medication in its original packaging with a copy of the prescription, and check Thai requirements for each medicine before travel. Travelers should speak with a medical professional about their individual health needs. See the prescription-medication guidance on the U.S. State Department Thailand page above.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. A covered illness or other unexpected event could affect your trip before departure, and medical care or emergency evacuation abroad can be costly. Please review your insurance options and arrange coverage when you make your trip deposit. Purchase deadlines and benefits vary by policy, and some benefits may require prompt purchase after your first payment. Coverage does not apply to every reason for cancellation. Review the policy’s benefits, exclusions, insured trip amount and purchase deadline before deciding. Ask 5 Star Travel about insurance options when booking if you would like a quote.
Included airport transfers run at the designated group arrival and departure times. If your international flight arrives or departs outside those times, you may arrange your own transportation at your expense or request a separate transfer in advance at an additional cost, subject to availability. Because the trip starts in Bangkok and ends in Phuket, please plan your international flights accordingly.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance quotes will be sent separately. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance when you make your deposit, preferably within seven days of your deposit. Some benefits, including coverage related to pre-existing medical conditions, may no longer be available if you wait. Eligibility and deadlines vary by policy.
Travel insurance may help protect you if a covered illness or other eligible event causes you to cancel or interrupt your trip, or if you need medical care while traveling. Cancellation penalties may be as high as 100% of the trip cost. Without applicable coverage, travelers are responsible for their own cancellation losses and medical expenses. Please review your policy’s benefits, exclusions, and deadlines before purchasing.
