Initial deposit due November 30, 2024 - $250 per person
2nd deposit of $500 is due by January 30, 2025
3rd deposit of $500 is due by April 30, 2025
Final payment due by November 1, 2025
Airfare
Airfare is currently unavailable for purchase and will be added once the rates are released. Please notify us once you have completed the booking form, and we will email you the rates and payment requirements.
Passport/Visa Requirements
All US /Jamaica passport holders must have a passport that is valid for travel 6 months after travel is complete and must have 2 bank pages ( 1 blank page for Kenya and 2 blank pages for Tanzania). If your passport is scheduled to expire within 6 months of the completion of the trip or is damaged in any way you must obtain a new one or you could be denied boarding. If you are denied boarding or entry no refunds will be given. Pleasant Point Travel and its affiliates will not be liable for this negligence. Passport and visa information may be obtained by contacting the Travel Advisory Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or by visiting the State Department website at http://www.state.gov/travelers. Your reservations must match the full name on your passport.
Tanzania - Visa Required for US Passport Holders
Travelers need a visa to visit Tanzania for Business or Tourism. Travelers can get a visa on arrival in Tanzania at the port of entry, such as an international airport or border crossing. There is also the option to obtain an e-visa prior to arrival.
Tanzania - Visa Required for Jamaican Passport Holders
You don't need a visa for Tanzania if you have a Jamaican passport.
Mandatory travel insurance for Zanzibar
All travelers visiting Zanzibar starting October 1, 2024, must obtain inbound travel insurance from Zanzibar Insurance Corporation. Travelers can apply online for insurance beginning September 1, 2024. The insurance provides coverage for up to 92 days. Travelers must carry proof of insurance with them when traveling to Zanzibar. The insurance can be purchased by clicking here.
This insurance should not be confused with your travel protection for pre/post trip cancellation..
Health Risks and Requirements
You may need prescription medication for Malaria, Altitude Sickness, and Travelers Diarrhea. Check with your doctor or a travel clinic to see if you need any medications for your trip. If you go through our partner, Runway Health, you can initiate an online consultation with a doctor and have your medications delivered to your door. Depending on your location, medications typically arrive within 3-5 business days.
